Setting Sail from Steveston

As a seasoned surfer, I’ve spent countless hours riding the waves and soaking up the sun in some of the most beautiful coastal spots in Central America. But this time, my journey took me to the historic fishing village of Steveston in Richmond, just outside of Vancouver. The allure of spotting majestic marine wildlife was too tempting to resist, and I found myself boarding a sleek, modern vessel for a whale-watching adventure.

The morning was crisp, and the air carried a hint of salt as we set sail through the Gulf Islands and the Strait of Georgia. The anticipation was palpable among the passengers, each of us eager to catch a glimpse of the ocean’s gentle giants.
