Incredible ATV Adventure with Pedro – A Must-Do in the Azores! - My wife Emily and I had an unforgettable experience on the Sete Cidades ATV tour, thanks to our fantastic guide Pedro. He was friendly, super knowledgeable, and adapted the route based on the weather so we could still catch all the best views, including the stunning Lagoa Verde and Lagoa Azul. Pedro made the tour feel personal—he took great photos of us throughout and shared awesome local recommendations for the rest of our trip. The ATVs were easy to use and the off-road paths made it a fun, adventurous way to explore the crater. Highly recommend this as a must-do while in São Miguel!

A beautiful way to see Sao Miguel - We had a wonderful time with Pedro. We had reserved Quads but it was raining buckets and we had to switch to a backup plan 4x4. Amazingly, right when we arrived to sete cidades the sun came out and the view was Gorgeous! Pedro was an amazing guide and we had so much fun driving through puddles! We traveled through areas way off the usual tourist route.

Azores 5 star 4x4 trip!! - Pedro was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. The tour was the highlight of our trip so far with breathtaking views, fun 4x4 adventure, and more knowledge of the island than we could have asked for. Do yourself a favor and book this tour for your next trip to Azores ASAP!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this experience. - Very cool experience. Nice ride around Sete Cidades, quad gives you a great overview compared to the car. Our guide Pedro is a local and could give very interesting insights into both island's history and modern day. Loved the experience.

Absolutely fully recommended - Pedro first took time to explain to us calmly the operation of the quad bike, everything was very understandable. There were only two of us with him, which we really liked, because on the way we met another quad-touring company that was on the same route with 13 people, but therefore could not make as many stops as we did. (Pedro takes a maximum of 6 guests per tour.) We drove around the crater lakes of Site Citades with scenic views. He told us interesting things about the history and economy of the Azores at various points and showed us plants and other special features. He had extra warm jackets with him in case we got cold. A toilet stop was also not missing. The off-road rides were a unique experience. There was also a brief briefing on this on the way. So we felt very safe at all times. On the way he took pictures and videos of us (We had signed our consent beforehand.) and provided them to us after the trip. You can really tell Pedro that he loves "his island" and lives for this job.

Fantastic quad tour - Fantastic and fun tour, where you get to drive off-road on hiking trails and get a fantastic view of the Sete Cidades. We chose to take each our quad, so we could really get to enjoy the trip, and it was definitely the right choice. At Quad Azores Tour you can sit one on a quad without having to pay double price, which was even better, especially since he also does not require a deposit.

The absolute best way to see Sete Cidades! - Absolutely amazing tour! Pedro was the best! It started raining right before I tore began and he made the wise recommendation to do the tour using the covered 'buggy' (think of the biggy as an ATV with a top, a windscreen, and a trunk that can carry up to five people) instead of the individual four wheelers. It was a wise decision. Not only did it keep me from being cold, wet, muddy, and absolutely miserable on the tour (because the weather was absolutely atrocious for a considerable part of the day), but I had the added benefit of learning so much about the island from him. He shared all kinds of stories and history about different things we would be seeing while we sat beside each other and took turns driving. Sete Cidades is more beautiful than any postcard could ever make it out to be. I will save all of the surprises for the tour, but let's just say you won't be disappointed by the views. This is the absolute best way to enjoy this particular landmark. You can tell that Pedro really loves what he does. He really loves his island and he loves sharing its natural beauty with tourists and visitors. What I especially appreciate is that he is very accommodating to solo travelers (unlike some other companies that have a two-person or four-person minimum when booking an ATV tour). I was the only person on my tour and Pedro really made me feel like a valued and appreciated guest. Since I was traveling by myself, he tailored the itinerary a bit so that I would get the most out of my experience. I also appreciated that he was prepared for the characteristically schizophrenic weather on the island. I thought I was fully prepared with my thermal undershirt layered underneath my t-shirt, Dri-Fit pants, waterproof rain jacket and gloves, but nothing could have prepared me for just how cold it got at the top of that volcano. Fortunately, Pedro brought extra coats, raincoats, and gloves to make sure that I was as dry and warm and comfortable as possible. He also checked in frequently to make sure that I wasn't too cold and was otherwise comfortable throughout the tour. The buggy ride was so much fun and I don't feel like I missed out on anything by deciding to ride in that as opposed to on an individual ATV. We had the chance to go really fast through the rugged terrain and we stopped frequently to take some really great pictures. I cannot overstate this.... DRESS IN LAYERS AND DRESS AS WARMLY AS POSSIBLE! If you think you have enough layers, add one more. It sometimes rains sideways and that wind can be cold and ferocious. Do yourself a favor and dress in warm layers. Hat, gloves, scarf or neck covering, at least two shirts (one of them long sleeved), a warm, waterproof jacket, thick socks and boots with good tread. If you forget anything, Pedro has you covered, but do yourself a favor and dress as warm as you can. When the tour was over, Pedro gave me some really great recommendations for local restaurants off the beaten path that offer delicious seafood, meats, fish, and local delicacies. I had been struggling to find good places to eat so his recommendations came right on time. The place was a little difficult to find at first and I was not aware that I was looking for his personal house, as opposed to a standalone business. So if you get lost, just look for the light green house with the ATVs in front of it. It is the last house at the end of the block. If you are coming to the Azores and you want to see Sete Cidades in the most memorable way possible, book this tour. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely recommend! - It was an absolutely unique experience! Since the weather unfortunately did not play along so well we were offered the buggy as an alternative to the quad bike and also accepted thankfully. The route, stops as well as the explanations and conversations about the island and the surroundings were very insightful and informative. You can just tell that someone with a passion is coming out on the quad bike! I would always book a quad bike tour here!
