Ribeira Brava - The tour begins in the morning as we pick you up from your hotel in Funchal. Our expert guide will take you on a scenic journey towards the mountainous region of Serra d’Água in Ribeira Brava. During this drive, you will be able to take in the stunning views of the island’s countryside.

After reaching Serra d’Água, we will take a short break for you to enjoy the scenery and take some photos. From there, we will continue the journey to Encumeada.

Miradouro da Encumeada - In Encumeada, we will visit a high altitude viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the north and south coast of Madeira.
Lameiros church - Next, we will embark on an off-road adventure as we take an exciting path to reach Lameiros, a picturesque area located in the north of the island.
Sao Vicente - The final destination on this tour is São Vicente, a charming village located on the north coast of Madeira. Here, you will have the opportunity to do some wine tasting with tapas.

Exiting the city and making way to the island’s west side, we’re headed for the stunning Serra d ́Água valley. We traverse across this valley and ascend towards the Encumeada pass, positioned at 1000m above sea level, boasting spectacular views of Ribeira Brava and São Vicente valleys and North and South shorelines. Post this extraordinary photo op, we continue our descent through the largest laurel forest, “Laurissilva,” a Unesco heritage. Once we reach Lameiros, a small village, we’ll embark on an amazing journey on the renowned off-roads of Madeira inside our memorable open-top Land Rover, exploring the “Laurissilva” forest and witnessing the diverse species of Fauna and Flora. After an off-road adventure, we arrive at the splendid northern vineyards for a unique tasting experience of various Madeira Table Wines, complemented with tapas.

Wine tasting up in the clouds - We had the jeep to ourselves as another couple cancelled and Seve was our driver. He was so knowledgeable and told us the history of Madeira. He was a great guide and had a fun sense of humour. He took us to the best spots to see the most spectacular views. The off road was a thrill but we felt safe as Seve is an excellent driver. Wine tasting up in the clouds was the best experience we have had on our travels around Madeira, we would highly recommend this tour

Half day Jeep Mountain Tour, Wine and Tapas - Lovely afternoon with Riccardo. My wife and I had the Landrover to ourselves. Riccardo was very knowledgeable about Madeira, Fauna (Laurel Forest), wine and Portuguese history. He picked us up from the Cliff Bay Hotel, we visited the view point at Miradouro de São Sebastião, travelled up through the Sao Vincente valley and the Laurel forest, ending up at Quinta do Barbusano winery for a tour of the vineyard and tasting of 6 wines. The winery was at a beautiful location overlooking Nossa Senhora de Fátima Chapel and the view was tremendous looking down to Sao Vincent and the sea to the north. We felt very safe whilst he was driving up the steep mountain pass. We have already booked another trip to Madeira next June and will definitely book another trip with Riccardo. Thank you Riccardo. Recommend this tour. Great pics and good wine! - Very nice tour. Guide was great. You get to see the northern part of the island. Scenery was incredible. Definitely recommend

Great Jeep safari, disappointing wine! - Our driver Ricardo did a great job, was a brilliant driver and very knowledgeable about the history of Madeira. But the wine part was disappointing, the wine itself being pretty forgettable, and the the so-called “tapas” were rubbish, consisting of a few mini toasts and some sparse strips of cheese and salami!

Great tour. Stunning views and good wines. - A good and surprising tour. Great sights, some off-roading and a beautiful vineyard with stunning views. The wine was very decent too. Would recommend.
