Excellent tour, perhaps the best Maderia has to offer! - Vitor was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He runs a tours company with his brother, so you can guarantee it’s from a local perspective. You get picked up from your accommodation in his jeep which always you to have the best views out on the road. Vitor and his brother are both very friendly and flexible in terms of what you want to see on the island. We went off roading which brought us through the most beautiful landscape, with plenty of time for photos and exploring. There was sufficient time to stop for Lunch and go for a swim in the volcanic pools if you like. My favourite part was stopping off at a local bar and had some coffee, Poncha and cake. Something you would never find without the local knowledge. Vitor gives you lots of brilliant detail and history of the island as you go around, including different plant species and stopping to try fruit. Brilliant value for money and would definitely go on another tour Vitor offers when I return.

Madeira off road! - I’ve just returned from an amazing few days away with 3 girlfriends in Funchal. We all fell in love with Madeira! Ricardo picked us up outside our hotel at 9am and after a fabulous day on the west coast tour, dropped us back again around 5pm. We would all fully recommend using Ricardo and his brother. As Madeirians they took us to parts of the island a normal bus/tour company wouldn’t/couldn’t, especially the off road parts! Ricardo’s knowledge and love of his home, made us fall in love with it even more. A mid morning stop to try Poncha with a cuppa and homemade cake at a very welcoming cafe up in the mountains was lovely too! 5 stars and a huge thank you to Ricardo for a wonderful day out. We’ll be back for the East Coast tour!!

Best way to see the island on a jeep. - I went with my 2 teenagers on this full day tour. We had great run and visited beautiful places. Ricardo was a great guide. He told us lots of fun facts about Madeira and brought us to a great place in the mountains with the best cake! I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour of Madeira ! - Had an amazing day out during our stay in Madeira. Ricardo was so friendly and took us to so many gorgeous places , which we probably wouldn’t have got out to see if we hadn’t booked it. Ricardo was so knowledgeable about everything around him. We also tried some traditional drinks which although they were insanely strong they were so good and traditional food which I wouldn’t have thought to order myself. I would definitly recommend booking !!

Great experience - My first time to Madeira and I fell in love. The tour with Victor was amazing. He took us on a wonderful tour and we go to see so many great views. He was very knowledgeable about the island and even kept the kids entertained. I will definitely be back. You need to book a tour with them asap!

What a day!! - Ricardo was delightful company; funny, knowledgeable and a great guide. We went to places on the island that we would not have reached independently and saw things that filled us with awe. We wondered whether Madeira was a repeat destination for us, Ricardo showed us that it is. We plan to return in November 2023 and will take his tour of the east of the island - can’t wait.
