  • Ribadeo - The town of Ríbadeo is the starting point of the Camino. At the exit of the coastal town we should go to Obe towards the mountain of Santa Cruz. The road leads to Vilela, Cedofeita and continues to Lourenzá, Cubelas, Vilamartín, San Esteban and Trapa. On the outskirts of Mondoñedo, it leaves the convent of San Martiño de Vilalourente, a low road that leads to the small towns of San Caetano through Vilñadares and Mariz. The road continues along the bottom of the drowned valley by the Valiñadares river. Continue to Péda Ponte, As Corgas, Gontán, Pobecende and enter the village of Abadín. Starting from Abadín, the Path passes through Terra Chá, crosses the Arnela River through a medieval bridge and goes through Pontevella Bridge. The route continues to Santiago to the small town of O Francés. Continue to Baamonde to reach Santa Leocadia de Parga. The path continues through Ponte Leijosa and reaches the limit of the province of Lugo. From here, through Esgueva you reach Sobrado dos Monxes (A Coruña) and Carelle. Then you reach the place of Corredoiras and go through a crossroads, before heading towards Boimorto and Gándara. The Northern Way finally joins the French in the town of Arzúa

The journey on the Camino commences from the town of Ríbadeo. As you depart this coastal community, your journey will take you to Obe, heading towards the Santa Cruz Mountain. From there, the path takes you through Vilela, Cedofeita, en route to Lourenzá, Cubelas, Vilamartín, San Esteban, and Trapa. As you approach the outskirts of Mondoñedo, you’ll pass the San Martiño de Vilalourente convent and take a lower road, that will bring you to the minor settlements of San Caetano via Vilñadares and Mariz. The trail prolongs alongside the sunken valley shaped by the Valiñadares river. The journey continues through Péda Ponte, As Corgas, Gontán, Pobecende, and leads you into the town of Abadín. From Abadín, the Camino traverses through Terra Chá, crosses over the Arnela River using a medieval bridge and takes you to the Pontevella Bridge. The path goes on towards Santiago ending up in the small town of O Francés. You will then proceed to Baamonde and finally arrive at Santa Leocadia de Parga. The voyage keeps going via Ponte Leijosa and stops at the borders of the Lugo province.
