We will provide you with everything you need to fish with a fishing rod. Don’t worry, if there is someone in your family who does not know anything about the fishing – we are here to help and to teach everything we know about it! And even if they are not so much into fishing, they can swim, sunbath and simple enjoy the day on the boat.

The best part that after taking photos with the catch of the day, we will grill it directly on the boat for you. One grilled fish (400 gr.) per person, salad, bread, water, soft drinks and fruits are included in the price.

About the boat

The trip will be with authentic fishing boat, which is fully equipped and registered for fishing with the Greek Coastal Authorities and follows the highest safety, hygiene and inspection standards.

Also our boat has the latest navigation equipment for fish catching.

We will furnish you with all the fishing gear you need. Don’t fret if there’s a novice fisherman in your group – we’re here to assist and share our comprehensive knowledge on the subject! Even those who aren’t particularly interested in fishing can enjoy a swim, sunbathe or simply relax onboard the boat.

The highlight of the experience is that after posing for snapshots with your catch, we’ll grill it on the spot for your enjoyment. Each person gets a grilled fish (400 gr.), alongside salad, bread, water, soft drinks, and fruits, all included in the cost.

Check-in: If you do not need a transfer, and you are coming to harbor by yourself - you have to come for a check-in from 08:30 until 08:45 am to our meeting point at our office at Gallias str. 6 (look for HALF PRICE TOURS sign, next to Benetton shop, at Mandraki Harbor) to get your boarding pass.

Great fishing trip. - The guides were wonderful. They spoke very little english, but communicated easily with our phones and translation. The food they prepared on the boat was fabulous, better than any restaurant! The staff that i booked the trip with were so patient since i had to add to my reservations twice after the initial reservation. The staff that picked us up at the cruise ship were right on time and had a card with my name on it so i knew it was them. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience, just wish i had caught more and bigger fish!

Excellence in Rhodes - Fishing was successful. Lunch consisted of grilled fish with the best Greek salad we have ever had. I am mobility challenged and they could not have been kinder and helpful. They even grilled the fish we caught and served it along with the grilled fish they had prepared. They were on time for the pickup and at the end of the tour, the driver was waiting for us and took us back to our ship It was a very good experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone .

Fishingtrip - Went on a fishing trip for 4 hours. We got many different types of fish and great help from the men working on the boat. We were three people and there were only us on the boat so it was a really nice trip with swimming stop whenever we wanted and a great lunch with fish they grilled for us in the boat. Would really recommend it!

Different way to experience sea - After a full day boat tour, we wanted to try something else in a smaller boat. My kids (10 and 13) loved to try fishing and even caught a few small fish. We tried several spots, and some were more successful than others. I disagree with a comment that no explanation or assistance was given at that, quite the opposite. We did not exactly catch our lunch. The crew had fresh daurades in the fridge and barbecued them while we were swimming. Food accompanied with lovely salad and bread. Water to drink provided, but if you prefer soda, juice, or are with picky children, bring your own. Tour operator easy to get in touch with and communicative. Timely pick-up up and drop off from the hotel (we were in Rodos town). Overall, great experience.

An unforgettable experience! - We had a really great boat trip. The crew was super nice and explained everything well, we caught a lot of fish and the food was very good . It was worth every penny. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it!

Bad fishing - The captain and his first mate were friendly but could only speak Greek, so no communication possible. We catched only fish max 10cm in length.So this is nit a fish trip but a boat tour. On the website of half price tours they only publish reviews with score 5.

Disappointed - It’s not as advertised. If you are looking for fishing this is not the trip for you. The captain spoke very little English and the fish we caught were 4” tops. The lunch was good but we thought we’d be eating what we caught. We weren’t offered any drinks. The fishing equipment was old and used very small hooks( # 8 ). Very disappointed!!

Poor experience - Not as expected, if your looking for deep sea fishing this isn’t the tour for you! Docked just off the shore with small rods, no real assistance to help you. Crew had limited english. Did not cook your own fish as expected for lunch, was served chicken. Half price tours should be called full price tours with half price standards! Lines getting tangled, having to sort ourselves, have to attach your own bait etc…all in all just a poor but expensive experience!

Disappointed - Terrible. My fishing excursion was canceled at the last minute by boat captain due to wind. He is contracted by Half Price Tours. George at Half Price Tours (Cut Rate Tours) told me to go to the platform I made the reservation on and click refund. I could only find ‘cancel’ button which only works 24hr prior to trip.
