It was very good - Rhodes island is very beautiful and we got the opportunity to see that from the upper deck on the bus.

Depends On What You Are Expecting - I think it’s all about expectations. For us, I just wanted a quick sightseeing around the island and drop off at the beach. If you don’t have a car and don’t want to take a taxi, it’s a quick way to get a brief overview of the island with a few panoramic picture spots along the way that you wouldn’t see on foot. If you want to just go to Old Towne and the beach, it’s a quick walk and not worth it.

Not Great - We took the opportunity to try the Hop On Hop Off Yellow City Bus Tour of Rhodes Town. €15 each and although we decided to catch the first Bus of the Day at 0902 from Stop Two it was over 10 minutes late. Friendly, informative Driver to be fair and even allowing for traffic by the time we got to Stop Twelve - The Acropolis - he was over 20 minutes late mainly it seemed because of two major waits, one at the Port for the Cruise Ship. We rejoined the Bus an hour later and when we finally got off at Stop 10 - St.Francis - he was well adrift. Information via the headphones - well the ones that worked - was like listening to a History Lesson by someone without enthusiasm. Not great Tour but some of the scenic views are worth seeing.

Chaotic - €15 gets you unlimited rides around the Northern tip of Rhodes for the day. Great for hopping on/off transport, but if you’re looking for a genuine sightseeing tour it’s a bit underwhelming. Also, be aware: The bus can get very busy. Often standing room only, with seemingly no limit to the amount of passengers the driver will merrily let on. The very notion of a sightseeing tour is replaced by the notion of a busy commuter bus during rush hour. Midway through the tour, the bus parks up near the harbour without explanation. Passengers are left to sit and get hotter and hotter as the driver and his tour colleagues attempt to lure across yet more customers from the latest docked cruise liner. Interestingly a little old man appears next to the bus selling overpriced water to passengers who begin to wilt from the wait on a baking bus. After half an hour, the old man thanks the bus tour operatives and you set off again. If you’re getting off at the Acropolis or Stadium, remember to go armed with fluids for hydration. It is very hot up there and there are no supporting facilities. Good walking shoes also recommended. As its a historical site, lots ot uneven ground to be expected. Take care. The audio played through the complimentery headphones is a little out of sync with the journey. At times its ahead, and at times its behind. Try not to get a cricked neck with all the ‘to the right’ and ‘to the left’ instructions which are fired at you at rapid rate. Overall - good value to use as a hop on hop off bus service. But don’t expect a relaxing and informative sightseeing tour. Plan for the fact the bus spends an age at the harbour. This isn’t pointed out in flyers/info leaflets. Take water!

no bus even though I had paid for this in advance - It meant alot of extra walking without the bus as my son has a sore hip and walking stick so we only saw some of Rhodes

Don’t bother - Came off the cruise ship decided on the hop on and off bus trip instead of a taxi. What absolute rubbish possibly the worse city sight seeing tour I’ve ever done. Up and down the same street twice. Don’t waste your money unless you have a desire to sit on a bus the guide ended on the first stop then the driver told you where you were. Lovely town easy to walk around.

No bus trips in November - Bus service finished in November had to get taxi to tour the town as in our 80s requesting taxi back 21 euro as would be able to see Rhodes

Don't Bother - Just rubbish. Finally got headphones to work, it doesn't actually tell you much anyway. If you do go sit on the right hand side to see anything of interest. Wish we hadn't bothered!

What a Mistake…!!! - What a shocking waste of 30 euros… Head Phones didn’t work for people on the top deck. Made the driver aware twice… not bothered the slightest. Better off on the mini train😃👍

Don’t do it !! - Genuinely not worth the money, it’s not a tour, it’s basically a busman driving fast around Rhodes city, earphones didn’t work, he didn’t care if everyone had a seat or not it was so dangerous in my opinion. Spend your money on something else !
