Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia - Camel Ride (INCLUDED) - Overnight at Cappadocia

Istanbul - Your driver will greet you at your hotel’s lobby and escort you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. The pick-up time will be scheduled according to your flight’s departure time from Istanbul to Cappadocia. We will notify you of the precise timing once your domestic flight tickets are booked.

Cappadocia - Upon landing at Cappadocia airport, your driver will be there to welcome you and take you to your hotel in Cappadocia, which is about an hour’s drive from the airport. Look for your driver at the airport’s arrival gate, who will be holding a sign with your name on it.

Rose Valley - Camel Ride (INCLUDED): After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll attend a safety briefing with your guides. Acquaint yourself with the camels before embarking on a safari through the breathtaking landscapes of Cappadocia, including the Red and Rose Valleys. For an authentic experience, traditional attire will be provided for you to wear during the ride. The camel safari will conclude with a return trip to your hotel in Cappadocia. Please note that the standard safari route may be altered if weather conditions are not favorable on the day of your experience.

Hot Air Balloon Ride (INCLUDED) - Guided Cappadocia Tour - Flight Back to Istanbul - Overnight at Istanbul

Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tours - Hot Air Balloon Ride (INCLUDED): Prepare for an unforgettable experience in Cappadocia! We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the launch site to witness the balloon preparation process. The flight will occur at dawn, with your pilot ascending to an altitude of approximately 700 to 1000 meters above ground. From this vantage point, you’ll have a spectacular view of Cappadocia beneath you. During the flight, the pilot may also descend to just a meter above the rock formations, providing excellent photo opportunities. The entire activity lasts around 3 hours, with the flight itself lasting about 60 minutes. A champagne toast will celebrate the end of the flight, and you’ll receive a medal as a memento of this extraordinary adventure. You’ll then be taken back to your hotel.

Urgup - We will collect you from your hotel between 9:30 am and 10:00 am (approximately) to begin the Red Tour of Cappadocia. Visit the iconic ‘Three Beauties’ fairy chimneys, the official symbol of both Urgup and Cappadocia.

Goreme Open-Air Museum - Explore the monastery complex, which includes rock-cut churches, kitchens, wineries, storages, and living quarters left by Anatolian Christians. The Goreme Open Air Museum is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ortahisar Panorama - The town is dominated by a 90-meter-high rock-castle known as Sivrikoya by locals. This remarkable example of rock-cut architecture served as a fortress against invaders during Byzantine times. Enjoy a panoramic view of this architecture and the surrounding Cappadocia landscape.

Uchisar Castle - Uchisar rock castle stands as one of Cappadocia’s most prominent landmarks. It is the tallest tuff hill in the region, offering stunning views of the valley and its peculiar rock formations. Note that there will be no visit to the rock castle due to accessibility and safety concerns; instead, you will stop for a panoramic view of the castle and Cappadocia.

Avanos Oren Yeri - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos, where vegetarian options are also available. Avanos is known for its charming old town, river views, and the production of earthenware pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittites.

Devrent Valley - Also known as Imagination Valley, this area is home to numerous red-colored animal-shaped rocks, with camels being a common sight.

Fairy Chimneys - Cappadocia is renowned for its distinctive landforms, and the Fairy Chimneys are prime examples of this. While you will see many of these formations during the tour, there will be no specific visit or stop at the Fairy Chimneys.

Cappadocia - After the tour, you will be taken to Cappadocia airport for your return flight to Istanbul.

Istanbul - Upon your arrival in Istanbul, we will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in Istanbul. The return flight will depart between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, landing in Istanbul around 9:30 pm to 10:45 pm. This timing allows you to catch your return flight to Istanbul after a full day of touring Cappadocia.

Walking Tour at Sultanahmet District (Old City of Istanbul) - Overnight at Istanbul

Sultanahmet District - Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel between 8:30 am and 9:00 am (approximately) to start the walking tour of historical sites in the Sultanahmet District (Old City of Istanbul).

Topkapi Palace - Visit Topkapi Palace to witness the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. Explore the self-contained city of buildings, pavilions, and courtyards, complete with outer-terraced gardens and a view over the Golden Horn. Note that Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, and if your tour falls on this day, the visit will be replaced with the Basilica Cistern.

Hagia Sophia Mosque - Continue to Hagia Sophia, a significant site for the Greek Orthodox religion that was later converted into a mosque. Admire the basilica’s dome, minarets, mosaics, paintings, and Roman columns, and learn about the history of its transformation and the addition of Ä°znik tiles.

Deraliye - Have lunch at Deraliye Ottoman Cuisine Restaurant, a Michelin Guided establishment in Istanbul.

German Fountain - Hear the stories behind the German Fountain, a gift from Kaiser Wilhelm II to the Sultan.

Hippodrome - Visit the Hippodrome, the ancient Roman circus, and see the remaining Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, and Constantine Column. Take a moment to admire the German Fountain of Wilhelm II.

Grand Bazaar - Explore the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s largest and oldest covered markets. If your tour date falls on a Sunday or the first day of a religious feast when the bazaar is closed, the visit will be replaced with the Spice Bazaar.

Sultanahmet - Your guide will conclude the tour at the end of the day.

Walking Tour at Eminonu District - Transfer to Istanbul Airport or Your Own Hotel - End of Services

Eminonu Square - We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 8:30 am to begin the walking tour of historical sites around Eminonu Square. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, historic buildings, and the variety of dining options in the area.

Misir Carsisi (Spice Market) - Visit the Spice Market, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, which was historically a hub for Egyptian exports during the Ottoman era. Keep an eye out for the Ottoman palaces and mosques along the Bosphorus.

Galata Koprusu - Cross the Galata Bridge, which spans the Golden Horn and has been a significant feature in Turkish literature and culture since the 19th century. Note that there will be no specific visit to the bridge; you will simply pass by.

Eminonu Pier - Walk past Eminönü Pier, located along the Golden Horn on either side of the Galata Bridge. Note that there will be no specific visit to the pier; you will simply pass by.

Istanbul - At the conclusion of the tour, your guide will depart, and our driver will take you to your hotel or to Istanbul airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of our services.

  • The prices of package are valid for accommodation at the double or triple room. If you would like add accommodation on single room(s) to your booking, there could be supplement cost. There are not going to be any extra cost for bookings of single / solo travelers. They will already accommodate at single room(s).
  • The pre-planned hotels are “Hotel Arcadia Blue” and “Radisson Blu Hotel İstanbul Pera” in Istanbul - “1811 Cave Boutique Hotel” and “Zeydem Suites Boutique Hotel” in Cappadocia for your accommodation on this travel. If these hotels are not available for standard/superior rooms on your travel dates, local tour operator can replace it with an equivalent hotel.
  • The check-in time of the hotels is 02.00pm, and you can not start use your room before this time. This is about the check-in & check-out policies of the hotels.
  • Local tour operator will send e-tickets of your domestic flights at six days before your departure date. You will not need the print out copies of the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport and reservation number on the tickets will be enough for check-in to plane.
  • Local tour operator can request your some passport details for the bookings of your flight tickets. If you do not share the details which requested by the local tour operator, your domestic flight tickets can not bookable.
  • You will have 15kg luggage + 8kg hand bag quota per person for each domestic flight. If you will need more luggage capacity, please inform that to local tour operator. There could be some extra fee for luggage quotas more than 15kg. This is exactly about the policies of airline companies.
  • Hot air ballooning is a fully weather-dependent activity and the Civil Aviation Authority determines whether the flight will be held. If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, you are entitled to a partial refund. In such a case, your refund will be processed by the day after of that trip.
  • The Standard Balloon Ride has an One-hour approximately flight duration with 20 to 28 people capacity basket. The flight duration could be 50-55 minutes or 65-70 minutes. This situation depend the weather conditions before landing, and pilots are decide to that within the safety rules of Civil Aviation Authority. Total activity duration is approximately 3 hours.
  • Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.

  • This tour is not available for the bookings to children who are 17 years old and under.
