Elding Adventure at Sea experience - The entire team was super friendly and passionate. Throughout the tour, we were kept well-informed, and they followed the guidelines (code of conduct) for responsible whale watching. Highly recommended!

Fabulous experience! - We had an amazing time on our whale watching tour in Iceland! From start to finish, the crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about marine life. The boat was comfortable and well-equipped, and even though the North Atlantic air was chilly, the staff provided warm overalls to keep everyone cosy. During the trip we saw several minke whales and even a couple of playful humpbacks! The guides gave fascinating commentary throughout the trip, sharing facts about the different species and Iceland’s marine ecosystem. They were also very respectful of the animals, keeping a safe distance and ensuring we didn’t disturb them. The scenery alone was worth the trip -stunning views of the coastline, mountains, and the crisp Icelandic sea air. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. Whether you’re a wildlife lover or just looking for a unique adventure, this experience was truly magical!

Worth it even in mid October - Great experience around the bay, despite being late in the season we saw a minke whale and a bunch of dolphins, some of which even rode along with us for a while for a lovely close up view, and one jumping fully out of the water. The hosts kept us informed, entertained, fed and caffeinated. If you're a keen photographer bring your longest lens and fastest burst speed!

Really expensive food, suspect quality too with take aways and fast food. Seafood is best, veggies get token choices. Nothing to - Amazing geology - like being in another world. Astonishing scenery and sea life. Lots of things to do, organised trips are well with the money.

Elding Whale Watching trip - The first trip we didn't see much at all as it was snowing and so cold on deck. We used the free return ticket 2 days later and saw some minkys and som3 humpbacks. The guide was very good, she gave us lots of information and took some great photos.

Whale Watching Tour - This trip didn't meet expectations because the whales we saw were quite far away and were very quick, but I understand there is no guarantee of an awe-inspiring experience.

It was good, but unsure we’d recommend whale watching as a must do tour - It was okay! Understandably the whale watching companies can’t control where, when or how you’d see whales, but we were lucky there were 2 whales in the harbour which we stayed with for the majority of the tour (5-10 mins from docking area), this was for the first 45 minutes, and came back to see them for the final hour of the tour. The rest of the time was spent sailing elsewhere, and unfortunately didn’t get to see any other sea life. Appreciate it’s out of their control, and can be hit and miss depending on the day, but for us 3 hours felt like a long time by the end of it.
