Thingvellir - Experience Iceland’s renowned sightseeing route — the Golden Circle — a must-visit for newcomers. Highlights include the striking landscape of Þingvellir National Park, the frequently erupting Strokkur geyser, and the stunning Gullfoss waterfall, often adorned with winter ice.

Begin the day at Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates converge. Known for its dramatic scenery, pristine waters, and historical importance as the site of Iceland’s first parliament, it offers both natural beauty and cultural richness.

Note: The Golden Circle Tour is available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Therefore, it may not always occur on day 2 of your trip — the specific day will depend on the weekday you book. This will also influence the sequence of any optional tours you decide to include in your itinerary.

Geysir - The Geysir Geothermal Area features steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and the renowned Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes. Visitors can witness Iceland’s geothermal energy up close in this dynamic and ever-evolving landscape.

Gullfoss Waterfall - Gullfoss, or the “Golden Falls,” is one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Plunging in two dramatic stages into a rugged canyon, it creates powerful mist and rainbows on sunny days, making it a highlight of the Golden Circle route.

Reykjavik - For those traveling during the darker months, consider adding a Northern Lights excursion, guided by local experts who will take you to the best possible viewing spots away from city lights. This optional evening tour is typically planned for your second night, with flexibility to reschedule to later evenings if conditions are not ideal.

Keflavik - After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Keflavík International Airport. Depart Iceland with unforgettable memories of its natural wonders.
