A fantastic journey all around Iceland - I went on this holiday with my wife for our honeymoon, and we both had an amazing time. We got to see such a wide variety of what Iceland has to show, from geysers to waterfalls and lava fields, but did not feel rushed at all as we went from place to place. Our tour guide Heimir was incredibly knowledgeable and was in a great mood throughout the trip, being very memorable himself. Iceland is a very expensive place to stay due to dining costs, so this is something to consider before coming, but I definitely feel that we got our moneys worth from this tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Iceland without being stuck in just one place.

An action-packed holiday with lots of waterfalls! - I had the most incredible time. Heimir was a truly excellent guide; so friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I loved seeing all the waterfalls on this trip, we made a few extra stops than on the program and every one of them was beautiful. This was an action packed week which let us see a little bit of everything. I would highly recommend this tour!

Iceland, a spectacular country!! - The 7-day tour of Iceland is highly recommended. You tour the entire island through stunning sights and scenery. We were a group of 21 people. We want to highlight the professionalism of Guide Ellert and Driver Christian.

Icelandic Adventure! - Amazing trip around Iceland with my mom. Outlr tour guide / driver, Ellert, was very knowledgeable. We went early in the season,so some shops in more rural areas don't open until May 1st. While prices in restaurants were much higher than I'm accustomed to at home, there also wasn't a single disappointing meal the entire week, including sandwiches and hot dogs from gas stations and grocery stores in the rural areas! Make sure to bring a water bottle / travel mug to make tea or coffee at your hotel, and recommend waterproof pants and jacket for sure.

This tour was incredible.... - This tour was incredible. I feel like we got to see all the highlights in Iceland. The tour guide and bus driver were great. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about Iceland. We had one handicap person that walks with a cane in our family group. He was not able to get into the raft on the boat tour of the lagoon. He had to walk down a treacherous rocky path just to turn around and go back. I think warnings should be stated in the itinerary that not all activities are for everyone. Also one of the waterfalls was very treacherous with icy paths and an extremely long walk. Only about half of our group even tried to get there. There was nothing stated in the itinerary or told to us by our guide. The hotels were very nice and the breakfast buffets were very good. All in all the tour was wonderful.

The best way to see the country - We had the most wonderful trip and the tour exceeded our expectations. We saw sights and places we would never have got to ourselves. I (30) travelled with my 73 year old mother from the UK and we agree this was the best way to see the country as we didn’t have to worry about the planning, timings, driving, parking or accommodation, we could just relax and enjoy the days. By being on the tour with a guide we learnt so much about the places we were seeing as well as the country and culture. Arni our guide also personalised this by telling us about the island and history of the area that he is from. Arni was the best guide we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and being guided by. From the first day to the last; he was professional but kind and approachable, extremely knowledgable from language to culture, history and geography, he was accommodating and we knew we were in safe hands at all times even when the driving conditions were tricky with the weather and when we encountered some unexpected challenges along the way. He really made the time special and enhanced our trip, even adding on extra bonus stops for us to walk to see a glacier and to see the Icelandic horses up close. The mini coach was very comfortable and had usb charging points which was very useful. We were a group of 17 so had plenty of room. The hotels were basic but comfortable with a good breakfast to start the day. Arni always pointed out food options for dinner each night as we pulled into each town and stopped frequently during the long drives for bathroom breaks. We opted to add on the forest lagoon which I would recommend for a relaxing evening but didn’t add the whale watching on the last night instead we headed off on a separate trip to the blue lagoon. Make sure you head into the city of Reykjavik for a walk around on your first or last evening as it’s the one thing this tour doesn’t cover. It’s only a short walk from the hotel. Thanks again to Arni and the compan we would not hesitate to return and will definitely be booking another tour or excursions via the company in the future.

Great Tour, 'hity weather. - Book this tour, you see almost all of the must sees and some surprises too. We found that booking directly with Snaeland Grimsson was considerably less expensive than booking with Expedia, so consider that. Communication with Snaeland head office was "slow" but that also had to do with "time zone" issues. The tour is on a medium sized bus ( 29 seats) we had 17 on our tour, so lots of room. Our driver (Ellert) was AMAZING. Geologist, Historian, Earth Scientist, Mythologist, Meteorologist, all rolled in to Viking of a guy who spoke at least 5 languages. Ellert started our tour by letting us know that we were in for some 'hity weather in June and we found that many of the Northern stops were in gale force winds and driving sleet and snow. Pack weather gear, gloves and hats with you in your backpack on the bus... In spite of the snowy roads and frankly terrible conditions, the sites were still amazing.. It almost added to the fun. You are going to see about 7 or so waterfalls up close, all a different, all are amazing. The stays are almost all at Berjaya hotels they were all clean and conferable, with a free (filling) breakfast each morning. We added all of the optional items. The Forest Spa (Hot Spring) is worth it, I would pass on the whale watching next time, the boat was very large and very full. We did see a humpback, but at 3 hours long (again windy and cold) it was just too much at the end of a busy trip. This tour misses "downtown" Reykjavik So I would book a night or two downtown before this tour, this will help you see the capital and get over the jet lag and get used to the sun never really setting in the summer (pack a quality sleep mask). The tour misses also getting onto a glacier, so if that is important to you there are day tours that do that. When you check into the Natura hotel, make sure you do the 10 minute walk up to Perlan (the Pearl) and check out the exhibits there and you get a nice view of downtown too. Last thing... Food in Iceland is CRAZY expensive, double, sometime triple what you will pay at home... Prices are constantly bad everywhere. But Iceland is worth it. I would not only go back to Iceland but I would do this tour again.

Great trip! - I was a bit worried about booking this tour because there weren't many reviews, but I am so glad I did! My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the size of the tour group was perfect (17 people, so it was more intimate). Our tour guide, Guðren, was positively fantastic, and we appreciated her local insights and love for her culture. I would definitely recommend this tour.
