Hlésgata 1 - This fun and friendly fishing tour is for everyone, from beginners to advanced sea anglers. Our experienced crew will take you to their favourite fishing spots where you can cast your line and reel in a variety of fish species such as cod, haddock, and pollock. The fishing grounds in Reykjavik are known for their high success rates, so you’ll have a good chance of reeling in a catch.

Upon reaching the fishing grounds, the crew will help you begin your sea angling adventure, explaining the basics and providing you with excellent fishing equipment. Guests who prefer bringing their own equipment are welcome to do so. Don’t worry if you’re new to fishing: the crew will be there to assist you throughout the tour and offer valuable tips and techniques.

The crew will prepare your catch and grill it on the barbecue. Lunch with your own catch, accompanied with potatoes, coleslaw, and our secret skyr sauce will be served on the way back to harbour.

Our exclusive small group sea fishing expedition provides a comprehensive experience. Enjoy a cup of coffee and house-made cookies as we journey towards our concealed fishing locations. On the return journey, we serve a gourmet barbecue prepared with the fish you’ve just caught, allowing us to look after every aspect of your trip. You can solely focus on your fishing adventure and the breathtaking trip along Reykjavik’s shoreline.

We supply high-end fishing gear, a comfy and authentic Icelandic fishing boat, and the benefit of our extensive fishing knowledge in Iceland.

Our crew aims to assist you in getting started with sea fishing or refining your abilities. Our skipper and cook will expertly barbecue your catch and serve it to you on our return trip, complemented with potatoes, a coleslaw salad and our special skyr dressing.

In case of an unfavorable Icelandic climate, our team will provide warm blankets and coffee. Our quintessential Icelandic fishing boat, Jóhanna, boasts a warm indoor area equipped with all necessities, including a washroom.

Non-Stop Fish! - This was an incredible tour! After disembarking from our cruise we went deep sea fishing for a few hours and it was non-stop fish! After we caugh our fair share the brothers cooked up a few for us and it was delicious. Definetly recommend.

Best experience in Iceland - This tour was my favorite part of my three day trip in Iceland. The two brothers that operate the boat and take you out on the water are awesome. They’re extremely friendly and make the experience fun and welcoming. The weather turned sour on us near the end of the trip, so they were unable to grill our fish on the way back, so instead they went out of their way to get us fish and chips from a local food truck at the dock! They went above and beyond. They offered us a beer and got us lunch with no extra charge. It was incredible. Not to mention the ride out to the fishing spots and ride back offered breathtaking views of the coast and surrounding small islands. Would highly recommend this trip

Great time with easy fishing, and nice lunch at the end - For the price, my brother and I had an excellent time. We are both experienced fisherman. I think this a great option for anyone looking for easy, accessible fishing. The fishing was fairly simple. the captain put us on multiple holes loaded with fish. The poles were rigged with 2-3 hooks per line, and a large weight on the bottom. You drop your line in, let it hit the bottom. We used artificial lures and spoons. We caught over 20 fish between the two of us (sometimes pulling up 2 fish at a time). Our weather was rainy, but the boat had a large spacious cabin which was warm and dry. There were about 10 anglers on the boat. Through the clouds, we saw nice views of the city. The crew cleaned, and cooked our fish for lunch. The fish was baked on the grill, for a nice lunch. They offered to let us take extra fish with us. There is convenient parking right next to the dock

Amazing fishing trip - We wanted to do a fishing trip in Iceland and booked a tour with another operator first, but that tour got cancelled a day before departure. So we had to look for another tour and found Viggson angling tour and good we did! We had lots of fun fishing. It was freezing cold and raining in august, but that made our experience even more fun and authentic. We caught lots of fish and on our way back ate that fish with potato salad. That was one of the best fish dishes we ever had ) simple but so good. Would recommend this tour a lot! Very nice and kind hosts!

Awesome fishing experience - Best fishing trip! Very accommodating to young fishermen. The brothers were welcoming, funny and wonderful hosts. The fish was cooked perfect. We will definitely come back and fish with Viggson!!

Great Time Caught Lots of Fish - Wonderful guides. They were very friendly and attentive. We caught 20 fish between the two of us. One comment would be 12 people is too many for the size of the boat.

Check first before taking this tour - No one showed up and when we asked in the SeaTrios office they said it was no longer running (after contacting the operator). We’re waiting to get a refund . We went on Sea Trips Whale watching instead which was great . .
