we saw the dancing aurora - nicholas is very knowledgeable about northern light. he really strived to ensure we saw them. the transport had problems with audio system and the heater was too hot.

We hit the lottery of Northern Lights displays! - We saw the best display of the Northern Lights! Amazing tour guide- he took professional pictures of individual couples in front of the lights and was so helpful!

Magical Auroras Indeed! - We had a whirlwind of a day with the Golden Circle tour in the afternoon and then off to Magical Auroras in the evening! What started out with cloudy skies, heavy rain, and resignation we weren’t going to see much was soon turned right around with one of the most spectacular shows in the sky imaginable! We stayed in one spot and the lights were dancing all over for nearly an hour! And even if we weren’t as fortunate with the lights, our tour guide, Greta, made the experience one to remember. Her positivity, enthusiasm, and commitment to ensuring everyone was having a great experience were unparalleled. She kept our group optimistic and excited at every turn, while making it seem effortless. This was one for the books. Family dance forever!

BLOWN AWAY - Greta took us on our northern lights hunt and she was incredible! Despite it being overcast and raining she was determined for us to see the lights and we’re so grateful for her, just after about 2 minutes of not seeing them we were BLOWN AWAY by the activity and even got to see the corona with the lights directly over us.

Amazing Aurora - Our night started out hopeless, and honestly, I thought the tour will be cancelled. However, I got the most amazing aurora show I could imagine, thanks to our experienced guide, who took us to the right spot. It was simply mindblowingly amazing.

Great experience! Hands down five stars! - We got so lucky seeing northern lights amid week long rain and clouds in and around Reykjavik. To make things worse, the geomagnetic intensity was too low to have any meaningful sighting! Credit solely goes to Mr. Palli, the tour guide, who knew exactly the high tricks of the trade. He drove us to the backroads of Keflavik where the airport is. We waited on one spot for half an hour then he drove us to another. Lo and behold! The aurora showed up in less than half an hour; it was like a white cloud to the naked eye, due to its very low intensity on that night, but with camera, the dazzling green and hues of red was simply mesmerizing. That happens with the long exposure of a camera as opposed to human eye that works with continuous short exposures. Seriously, the chance of aurora sighting was so marginal but Mr. Palli made it look easy with his years of expertise. Cheerfully recommended. I must add that the trips before this I planned were cancelled by another company back to back for poor weather.

Amazing Northern Lights - Amazing tour with Arctic Adventures and our tour guide, Palli, on Sept 13, 2025. We felt very lucky to witness such natural beauty. Dress accordingly, the wind was intense and cold. Hot cocoa and snacks were appreciated. This certainly is the highlight of our trip!
