Great tour - It was a solid trip. The lights didn't cooperate but I learned a lot. Our guide Rich helped everyone optimize their camera settings. While we didn't get pics of the northern lights we did get some of a lunar halo.

Mind blowing - I loved it, we went for the first time and could not see anything, so they give the option to relearn what I did and for the second time it was magical experience

A very positive experience in Tromsø. - Upon arrival, I received a message from Henrik informing that, for health reasons, he would not be able to guide us on the tour. It offered us the option of joining another group or requesting a refund. We chose to join another group, and our guide was Vinjar, who was excellent throughout. He was always attentive and sought the best conditions so that we could enjoy the famous Northern Lights. Highly recommended!

Worth it! - So glad we made the effort to go and see the lights, thankfully it was a clear day/night so caught a good glimpse. A lot more impressive on the camera than the naked eye but truly beautiful. Left about 11pm and returned about 1/2am, bus pick up/drop off was smooth and reliable. Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent Service and Experience. Will be back again soon. - The tour guide Richie possesses an in-depth local knowledge about Iceland sites and culture. He had a positive energy and he was also helpful in sharing information on where to access transport in Iceland and locate key tourist destinations. He also had good english skills, making it easy for us to communicate. Also he, the drivers Bartek and Jonny, whom got us safely and smoothly to our destinations, ensure that our tour experience was a complete. Definely will recommend to my friends coming over .

Lights not very bright, but still an amazing experience - The lights weren't very visible, but still a very nice experience. I would like, however, to offer one suggestion: in the way there our guide suggested settings we could use to take pictures of the lights, but at least for my Android they did not work. Instead of the night mode the best strategy appears to be pro mode, and then the lowest speed and the highest ISO, plus manual focus on the infinite.

Lovely Lights, check-in could be better - This night tour was great! Our tour guide was very nice and informative on what makes the lights happen, minimal light pollution & luck. We had 1.5 of 2 of those things. That's why I gave this a 4 instead of a 5. This tour takes you 25mins South of Reykjavik and you can still see the city lights at their stopping point to view the lights. I feel like we should have gone out further but what we did see of the lights was AMAZING. True to what our guide said the Northern Lights can be a little shy. So when we were all standing outside in the wind 🌬️ and faint green appeared in the sky, I wondered, Is this it? 🤔 To my delight and surprise, it wasn't! The lights came out about 30-ish minutes after we were there and they did not disappoint. (I'm sharing photos of how faint the lights looked and then how they gradually for brighter) The 4 out of 5 rating is also due to the chaotic way we checked in for this tour. I had a Bus Stop 1 pick-up with 8 other people. When we arrived at BSI to transfer to the tour bus, there were two groups of 3 people at opposite doors checking people in. It really would have made more sense for the tour teams to be gathered at the BSI doors that led to the tour bus and they had us line up to check-in. Our bus was delayed getting out because we had one extra person on our bus and no one knew why.

A glimmer of light - Although we didn’t get to see the northern lights as vibrant as they appear in the pictures we took, it was cool to see a faintness of the lights! Oh tour guide was pleasant!
