Very nice discovery of the Eiriksjökull glacier from Húsafell - Excellent excursion on and under the glacier. Ryan, our guide, was perfect as the driver of our off-road minibus, snow and ice half melted for a good part of the journey. Duration a little over 5 hours. We were lucky enough to enjoy lightly overcast weather, often sunny with a clear view of the glacier and the surrounding mountains. Price a little high (a little cheaper for the 10 a.m. departure) for an excursion that is nonetheless recommended.

One of a kind tour! - Great tour! Very unusual tour - driving out on the glacier was amazing. The guide in the tunnel was great - very fun and informative. Highly recommend the tour. The only downside was that it is a really long drive from Reykjavik - we made one stop to look at a waterfall and have lunch but the rest of the time was on the bus. Once we got to the tour - it was an hour to the tunnel in the special vehicle, hour in the tunnel and then an hour back - the rest of the time was on a the tour bus.

A Beautiful Experience for Solo Travellers - This was my first ever solo trip, and I’ve chosen Iceland as it’s been on my bucket list since middle school. I’ve always wanted to learn more about the glaciers, including their predictions on how long they will last, and this tour has answered those questions in detail and more! The guides for the tour were great; friendly and helpful - as well ensured that safety measures were taken at all times. (Also experienced some singing which was beautiful) Thank you!

Not to be missed Iceland Adventure - A unique experience. I loved all of it! Even the frigid cold and high winds were nothing compared to the awe of the drive to the glacier and the tunnel itself. My tip would be to make sure to use a flash for most photos in the cave.

Unique experience - Our guide was experienced and answered our questions regarding the melting glacier we toured. The trip up was in a large capacity climbing machine which was a little difficult for my 4 year old grandson. Fortunately he fell asleep. Inside the glacier, it was melting but adequately lit. You can drink the dripping water. Sad to think with global warming these wonders won't be around that many more years.

In to the Glacier review. - Great experience. Enjoyed being driven in the off-road bus and then the even more off-road truck. Plenty of toilets available at all three stopping locations, including at the cave. Scenery on the way to and on the glacier was amazing. Cave was cold, even in Summer, and quite wet so wrap up and wear waterproofs. Tour guide was nice, enthusiastic, and informative.

Great Guides! - We had a wonderful time getting to experience hiking on a glacier! The one draw back was that we ended up waiting an hour to see the “ice cave”. I’m using quotes because it is a man made cave. Very cool to see inside a glacier but the cave itself was underwhelming especially after standing around waiting for an hour. We would have preferred more time on the glacier itself. Our guides Martin and Daniel were wonderful though! Martin kept the whole group engaged while we waited, which was quite a feat in itself. Also, Martin is a master photographer and got great shots of us we never would have taken ourselves.

A mixed experience - We had a mixed experience on the combined snowmobiling and Into the Glacier Tour. First the good: our two guides were fantastic. They were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and funny. They were the best part of the tour. We were lucky that no one else signed up for our time slot, so we had a private tour which was great. They also accommodated that I wanted to go slower on the snowmobile and my husband and son wanted to get some speed! Our one complaint, for me was major: I am a larger person and I specifically emailed the company prior to the trip to make sure that they would have larger jumpsuits available (as advertised on their website). They assured me that it would be no problem. When I got there they didn’t have any. It was really embarrassing for me, as I ended up wearing one two sizes too small and couldn’t zip it up at all. It was chilly on the snowmobile even in July. If we had come in winter, I wouldn’t have been able to participate. I then followed up with the person I had emailed after the visit to express my disappointment, and never received a reply. For $1000, I expect better. So, for this reason— even though we loved our guides—- I wouldn’t recommend using this company.

Avoid at all costs - I Ignored the review about them not picking you up. Do Not Make My Mistake!! We were at the pick up site 20 mins early and called the company before and during our pick up window. They told me to be patient and then said I needed to rebook. They made no effort to get my family on the tour. They subcontract pick up so there is no communication. I have taken tours throughout the world and never seen anything like this. To their credit, they did refund the cost of the tour but someone in charge needs to make changes. Watched several tour companies carefully pick up passengers. It’s not that hard and clearly a chronic issue. Respect your time and book elsewhere

Scam failed to collect us TWICE - SCAM!! This tour failed to collect us TWICE wasting 2 days of our trip. I'm absolutely disgusted with the treatment the first day the first operator blamed us when we were there an hour and half before pickup and then later were told it was due to weather and assured us we would be collected on the rescheduled day. The day comes and AGAIN NO COLLECTION. This time we are told our names were not on the list. They would not provide a transfer to meet the bus and so we have wasted 2 days of our trip of a lifetime as its too late to book anything else. I am awaiting a refund and hope this at least goes smoothly. I'm absolutely fuming. At all costs DO NOT BOOK this tour
