1st Class comms, instant refund - This review is based on communications and information provided by the company. Unfortunately both the trips were cancelled due to extreme bad weather conditions. We were contacted by telephone & email well before both trips were due to depart and updated with probable cancellation. Offers of rescheduling and alternative trips given, however due to timescale we were unable to rebook. Full refund was received within 24 hours, without any problems whatsoever. On this basis I would trust the operator and booking process , and definitely try again for the trips in the future.

Fun at sea - Fabulous time looking for the whales, and we found 2. The evening lights cruise was cancelled twice due to the weather. We went out on the 3rd night but unfortunately the lights didn't come out to play. Would still highly recommend

Well worth the money - This company is well worth using. Expensive, yes, but no more than others in Iceland. The boat was full but not overcrowded, the crew were very knowledgeable and helpful. On the Northern lights tour they pointed out constellations and explained what the lights were. On the whale watching they ensured we got a good view of all the animals, even the dolphins that joined us. An added extra are the photos they take and publish on the web site to download for free. Two excellent trips.

Good little tour. - Whilst we did not see any whales, we did see a few seals and dolphins. Unfortunately the northern lights part of the tour was canceled because of a really choppy sea.

Two fantastic trips - We loved both of the tours we did with this company. We booked in person and the service was friendly and helpful. We did our Northern Lights tour that evening and our Whale Watching tour the following day. We took both trips on the ‘Andrea’. We found the boat to be comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of room for everyone although if you want a seat on deck we’d recommend being early. We’d also thoroughly recommend borrowing the weatherproof overalls available on board. Toastie warm throughout both trips. The staff on board ship were great and both if our guides, Massi and Patrick were engaging and knowledgeable. Patrick channelling Dory to try and call whales was joyous. When we’re next back, we’ll be booking with this company again.

Great Experience! - We were very excited to see the humpback whales during our April 15, 2023 excursion. In addition to the excitement of seeing the whales, we also learned a lot about them. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and personable. The overalls available on board were just what we needed. We also went to try to see the Northern Lights on April 11, but were unsuccessful. We still had an enjoyable time, as there were beautiful views of the lights of Reykjavik from the boat. I was pleased to find out that I can go on another Northern Lights tour free of charge the next time I visit Iceland. (We had the opportunity to try again on another night during our trip, but we had other plans and thus were not able to try again during our April visit to Iceland.)

Iga the whale whisperer - If you want to have a fantastic time watching whales make sure Iga is your guide. She’s got mad whale watching spotting skillZ (yes with a capital Z). The whales must really like her because we saw 3 humpbacks all playing around near the boat. I think they must have been watching us… Thanks for an amazing and unforgettable experience!!

Pretty good, all things considered. - We were booked on this two-part trip. Unfortunately we received a call in the morning to say that the whale-watching trip on that day was cancelled due to weather, but it was re-booked for another day. The Northern Lights trip did go ahead and the trip was as good as we could have expected in the circumstances. The boat was large with all the facilities you would expect, plus warm body-suits were available to allow us to stay on deck if desired without getting frozen. We did get to see the lights, although it was only for the last 30 minutes of the trip and they were fairly underwhelming in all honesty. Obviously that’s not the fault of the tour company, but it did mean we needed to book additional trips on subsequent nights to try and see a better show, as having technically seen the lights on our booked trip, we couldn’t take advantage of the offer of additional free trips should the lights not appear. The postponed whale watching trip was also cancelled due to weather, but when requested, we did received a partial refund on the tour cost, as we were unable to do the whale-watching before the end of our trip.
