Hvaamsvik - Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hvaamsvik - our guide ‘Carlos from Argentina’ was on time and interacted with guests, we even stopped for a photo opportunity! Perfect amount of time at the destination, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We would definitely recommend to anybody visiting Iceland.

Beautiful place, beautiful people 😊 - Great experience here! Carlos, our driver, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made sure all of our needs were met on the drive and took good care of us. Staff at the springs were also very pleasant and ensured we had an easy, relaxing experience. The location was absolutely stunning. I chose to go here instead of Blue Lagoon because this was cheaper, and I definitely would recommend this, whether you go to Blue Lagoon or not. I had an awesome time. Really enjoyed the views and luxury spa-type feeling.

Amazing experience - Silvia is the best! - This was an amazing experience and Silvia was an amazing driver and guide! I booked the experience last minute at 10pm the night before and had some questions but Reykjavik Excursions was so responsive and answered everything by 10:30pm. Pickup was so easy in the morning, and everything went so smoothly thanks especially to Silvia. She explained about the drive, what we would see along the way, what to do at the hot spring. But mostly she brought such genuine kindness and great energy, she really wanted us to enjoy ourselves and constantly invited us to ask questions or for anything we needed. She made it such a great experience - thank you, Silvia!

Amazing Tour - Dylan Kincla was an amazing guide, he was very kind and knew a lot about the Island! I recomend his tours to the volcanos and hot springs.

A phenomenal experience - This was a fantastic experience! We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be returning when next in Iceland. The facilities are wonderful, the staff kind and polite. The scenery is breathtaking and it is the perfect morning or afternoon activity. We were so relaxed by the time we left and definitely didn't want to leave.

Relaxing, scenic - I had such a wonderful time on this tour. The hot springs are lovely and the views are breathtaking. The guide was friendly and gave us some history on the drive out of Reykjavik. 10/10 experience.

HVAMMSVIK HOT SPRINGS REYKJAVIK - after a ricky start about my pick up time i decided to cancel pick up and make my way to the bsi bus terminal and as it had snowed the previous day there was snow on the ground and thats not a problem for me as i love snow just the ice i am wary of and i met a man allighting from his car and he very kindly offered me a lift to the bus and from there i was able to get another bus to the bus terminal and when my bank card refused to tap the female driver kindly told me to sit down and after only 3 stops i was at the bus terminal and we were met by a very kind and helpful lady driver who drove us to the hot strings in a small mini van our journey there was full of lovely senery of a river that trailed along the route and mountains with snow on the peaks and when we allighted from the minibus the air was so fresh and cool and after a short walk we were inside and i was given a lovely pair of swim shoes and lucky for me i did as the floor is made of stone and we had those lovelyy bracelets that just tap the changing room door closed and i walked out in my swimsuit that i purchased a few days earlier in H@'M IN REYKJAVIK for 20 euros oh how i love a bargain and its leopard skin and i cant wait to show my friend synthia from my fitness club back home as we had a laugh about leopard skin swimsuits just before we left /it was freezing until i hopped into the first pool till i realized this was where the open bar was and i moved to the next pool that was lovely but warmer and then i tried the next pool and then another that i had to slip into and the next one i had to climb into but it was the highest pool with the best views and after a while i got so warm that i was happily standing in the pool feeling more aclimatized by the minute and finally i sat in the shallowed cooler pool by the river before i showered dressed and happily ate a very big apple and back on the bus and was dropped off at my apartment

Great choice! - We switched from sky lagoon to this at the last second and we are so happy we did. It was relaxing and we went during the 5 pm slot got there around 545 and left around 830. It felt like the right amount of time about two hours in the springs. They give you a wrist band for your locker and you can use it to buy drinks from the swim up bar. Each pool was a different temperature and you can go in the ocean for an added bonus. Jumping in quickly was a rush and then going in the pool immediately next to the ocean felt nice. 10/10 recommend

Hot springs in Natural setting - a must do to be included in your Itinerary - The transfers to Hvammsvik is from BSI bus terminal and there are two departure times -1030 (returning at 1400) and 1700 (returning at 2030) . The transfer takes about an hour.
If you are not comfortable taking a shower naked in front of strangers , then opt for classic experience where you have private and open showers as against the open showers in natural experience .
There are 8 natural hot springs and it is quite a soothing and magical experience enjoying the hot water with the background of ocean and mountains. A must -do to be included in your itinerary of Iceland
There is also a sauna and steam room to escape from the cold weather outside and warm up your body- but the outstanding experience is enjoying the hot springs in the natural environment .
You can have drinks while soaking in the hot springs-we did not indulge so can't give you an idea of the prices
