Bus pickup from the hotel... - Bus pickup from the hotel was easy. The bus was very comfortable, and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The attractions are extraordinary and well worth the 6-hour trip.

Great day trip - Sky Lagoon was excellent! - We had a great day trip from Reykjavik that ended in the Sky Lagoon. We had booked pick-up from our hotel / bus stop but we were never picked up, as a result we had to make our own way to the central bus station and missed our trip start. However, the staff there were so kind and helpful that we were able to join the next tour starting two hours later.
We had a fantastic day and quickly forgot about the frustrations of the morning! Highly recommend!

Golden Circle Adventure: Stunning Sights, Stellar Guide, and a Spa to Remember - My family and I (four adults) recently took the Golden Circle and Sky Lagoon Geothermal Spa Tour from Reykjavik, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! While there was a lot of time spent on the bus and less time at each stop, the destinations were absolutely stunning. Our guide, Darren, was fantastic—knowledgeable and engaging—and our driver, Helgi, expertly navigated icy roads and near-blizzard conditions, making us feel safe throughout the journey.
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the Sky Lagoon. I could have spent an entire day there! If you’re planning to visit, be sure to make reservations as they were fully booked when we went. Don’t miss "The Ritual," the spa's seven-step process—it’s a must-do!
Another tip: try the lamb soup at the Gullfoss gift shop. It’s delicious and a perfect treat for a cold day.

Gold Circle Classic Tour - Our Driver was Helgi and our "host" was Darren and they were both brilliant from start to finish. Helgi was an amazing driver and Darren was very funny, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable and informative. Darren went out of his way to find the answer to a question I'd had, when we were at the Geysir Centre, which was very much appreciated. He made the day so interesting and at the end was saying which other Gray Line Tours to take, what restaurants, bars and shops were well worth a visit etc. My partner and I very much enjoyed and appreciated Darren's input to the day and he and Helgi made it a most memorable experience.

Absolutely Spectacular! X - Absolutely amazing! The views were spectacular on route and at each destination. The commentary and humour from our tour guide was informative and added greatly to the experience. Hats off to our driver too who ensured we were kept safe on the Icelandic snowy roads. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Do the trips but book them separately - Each of the trips are well worth taking but book them separately as the golden circle tour basically ends with a wasted 90 minutes of your time with various drop off points for different tours before the Sky Lagoon. So frustrating and it isn’t advertised as being multiple trips combined.

Dropped off at wrong hotel 2.5 kilometers away - The actual excursion itself was great. My issue was with my drop off. The bus driver kept arguing with me about my drop off location. He brought me to the wrong area and told me he couldn't park in front of my hotel even though I was picked up at my hotel in front of it, he said he couldn't go in front of it for some reason and had to drop me off two blocks and if I just walked up those two blocks I'd see my hotel. He kicked me off the bus sent me on my way only to find out he brought me to the wrong hotel and I was a 35-minute walk back. Gray lines were not answering their phones. I couldn't get a hold of anybody. I was just left out in the middle of nowhere on a cold, rainy windy day. Shame on you and shame on your drivers for not knowing where they're going and for not listening to your customers when they're telling you the area doesn't look familiar. Some trainings clearly needed. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else

The bus NEVER showed up!!!!! - Do not book this tour through Viator! The bus never showed up. We waited almost an hour in the cold and no bus. I called their “24/7” customer service number multiple times and no one answered, I let it ring for 5 minutes once. Unfortunately, it was our last day and we were not able to go on the Golden Circle tour. Super frustrating and disappointing!!

Poorly organised despite being very expensive - Horrendous organisation.
Multiple changes of coaches so majority of the day is wasted.
Do yourself a favour and book the trips independently with a smaller organisation
