Highlights
  • Reykjavik - Our day tour will begin with our fast and efficient pick up service. We will come to pick you up from either, one of the hotels in the center of Reykjavik or from one of the many pick up spots dotted across the city. When pick up is completed then we will leave the city and begin our journey.
  • Thingvellir National Park - Our first destination is \
\ingvellir National Park, where you will get the chance to walk between two tectonic plates. North American and Eurasian that are drifting apart approx. 2.5 cm a year! You will have time to walk around the park, admire beautiful \x\r\rfoss and see the first Icelandic parliament or as it is called Althingi in Icelandic.
  • Geysir - Next on our agenda is Geysir geothermal area with an active geyser called Strokkur which erupts approximately every 10 minutes. We will stop there for a while, so you will have time to try to take an iconic photo with geyser erupting like a fountain behind you. There are restaurants located next to the geyser area that you can check on if you get hungry, want to buy souvenirs or use the toilet.
  • Gullfoss Waterfall - Our next stop is spectacular Gullfoss or Golden Falls in English. This amazing waterfall has been visited by tourist since 1875, it is very powerful but it is also known for its beauty as you might see a rainbow above the water or a golden hue shining in its glacier water.
  • Efstidalur II - The Efstidalur farm is where we go. An Icelandic family-run farm concentrates on cow and cattle breeding and adheres to traditional Icelandic farming culture. You’ll be able to take in the magnificent mountain views, sample their exquisite dairy and food items, and witness the friendly animals while sampling their handcrafted ice cream.

Memorable tour and guide! - This was an awesome experience. Our guide Jóhannes was funny and entertaining, and had alot of interesting facts about Iceland. We went to the worlds first parliament and saw the tectonic plates. This is next to Icelands biggest lake which appeared nearly completely frozen over. Beautiful views. Next we went to the Gullfoss Waterfall. Again which was beautiful and had lots of ice flows and ice on it. We then visited the Geyser which we saw a couple of times and this was very interesting. The visitor centre had one of the best Mushroom soups I've ever eaten.
