Great thing to do on a rainy day - Great thing to do on a rainy day - very cleverly designed and realistic; complete with water sprays and smells to match what is on the screen. Enjoyed it

Fantastic, last-minute experience - Such a fantastic experience. We visited Iceland and due to poor conditions had trips cancelled etc, so were looking for something to do - this definitely didn't disappoint! You will feel so intrigued and enchanted by the magic of Iceland after this experience. I attended with my grandmother and she absolutely loved it too! Such a unique experience. It is situated in a lovely building with a cafe and a fantastic shop that you can purchase professional photos that the company take of you. You can also ask the staff to call you a taxi to get to where you would like to go next! The staff are lovely. Would highly recommend!

Incredible - The flight is amazing, breathtaking, a must for your visit to Reykjavik Very well organised, we got there early and they allowed us on an earlier ride. There’s a cafe although we didn’t use it We got an electric scooter from near our hotel right up to Flyover

Iceland is GORGEOUS! - 2024-March. There were lots of parking spaces. The facility was very clean. There were lots of stalls in the women's restroom. We have 2 reservations for a total party of 7 on a Sunday late afternoon. The staff was nice. You go up the escalator, where you take a green screen picture. Then you wait for a few minutes for the doors to open into a room that will play a little introduction to Iceland's history. After that, you go to a round room, with 2 screens - 1 hanging over a round huge screen parallel to the floor. Now, it's time for the FlyOver Iceland ride. This is like an iMax but with moving seats. The group is divided into 4 groups, 8 people per group. Groups 1 & 2 were guided through the upper seats, and groups 3 & 4 to the lower seats. There was a little netted compartment under the seats to store your stuff. Photography or videography inside the rooms and the ride is not allowed The show itself was really good. The screen is nice and clear. Iceland is naturally gorgeous! It didn't have a volcano shot though.. The photos from the green screen were about $25USD for 4 printed photos and all 16 digital photos. Anyways, the reason for a 3-star is because of the website and its customer service. Once you purchase the FlyOver Iceland ride, you will receive an email with a link to modification or cancelation. I tried to modify my reservation. But it charged me a new booking instead with my new modification. I emailed FlyOver Iceland and still no response. I have called using the number listed in the email and on the website and I was told that that number was only for FlyOver Chicago. I waited for another day and I still didn't get any response. I ended up disputing the charge through my credit card. But if you're in Iceland, try this. Please give this review a thumbs up if it helped you in any way. 👍

Mixed - Some irrelevant childlike videos are put on for you to watch for around 15 minutes. Then it is hardly 10 minutes of actual flying. The simulator in itself is quite an exhilarating experience but far too short. A little disappointed overall

Nice experience - A nice experience however expensive for what it was considering the ride itself lasted 8 minutes. We were out within a total of 30 mins.

Waste of money - I just came out, completely horrified. The flyover only lasts ten minutes, where you go up and down through different Icelandic landscapes. There is no narrative, nothing or nobody explains what you are seeing. The transitions from one landscape to the next are quite abrupt. Do not expect an educational experience, the aim of it all is to make you feel several times that you are going to crash against a mountain/glacier/rock. If you are prone to car sickness, I suggest you avoid. Or just avoid altogether unless you are just looking for a disneyland type experience.
