Just about perfect - From majestic lakeland scenery to exciting boiling mud pools. A great overall view of the volcano and surrounding area after a relatively moderate hike. Got close to and even on the volcano too. The two guides were incredibly knowledgeable and informative. I've done lots of tours and this is probably the best one I've done.

A memorable day - The tectonic plates, the waterfalls, lakes, volcano site and geysers we visited were just amazing! Luckily the weather was good and not windy. I was astonished that we actually climbed to the top of the mountain! Walked in-between the tectonic plates! Saw amazing waterfalls. The day was very memorable. All in all good day

A Must - Our guide, Dave, was amazing. The hike was wonderful. The clouds covered the volcano but it still was a beautiful view. The rest of the tour was amazing to see. Lunch at Papas was so good especially after hiking. Highly recommend!

Worthwhile tour -- even without active lava flows - Went on the tour yesterday -- the guide was excellent, and provided so much interesting information. We visited several sites, including thermal springs, a beautiful lake overview, the site of recent volcanic eruptions (no active lava flows but still awesome), the seaside where lava has been carved by the waves, and the gap between the tectonic plates. We were able to decide for ourselves how strenuous a hike to take at the eruption site -- bring really good hiking boots or shoes with decent traction if you want to hike up to the mountain overlook. The tour included a stop at a fishing port for the best lobster soup I've ever had.

Great tour. Dave was an amazing tour guide. - Went on this tour the other day, the tour guide, Dave, was fantastic. He made the tour a very fun experience, he was funny, and told us all about iceland throughout the trip and managed to not make any of it sound boring. Overall the tour was worth it. Had a great time. Will definitely book another tour with this company whenever I'm back in iceland next.

A Fine Insight into Iceland´s volcanic geothermal nature - This was a great experience, guided by a very prominent and professional guide (Gudrun). We climbed up the top of the Fagradalsfjall mountain and saw at close range the lava fields of the 2021 volcanic eruption. Also, we visited several other very interesting places: Gunnuhver Hot Springs, Seltún Hot Springs and the Krýsuvík Geothermal area, Bridge Between the American and Eurasian Continent, the breaking of Atlantic waves at the shore, and so on. If fact, our driver/guide cleverly added a few novel stops to our tour, as we had some extra time to spend. In all, the Tour was a great adventure and gave unique insights into Iceland´s volcanic nature. Highly recommended! PS. Do not forget to take good hiking boots and wind-resisting garments on the mountain tour!

Awesome tour - Gudrun was such an awesome tour guide! She took us to the most recent volcano eruption site and also around to different beautiful sites around Reykjavik. She was so kind and knowledgeable about the history behind the sites. 100% recommend!

Among the volcanoes - The peninsula is really very beautiful, we managed to stop in Seltun and it was worth it. Four hours in the volcano area passed quickly. The Bus Travel guide respected the times and was kind to answer our questions. The trip includes many km and the landscape is truly special! You can see the lava fields all the way to the lighthouse beach. Our guide, I don't remember his name, but he is of Syrian origins showed us an unusual place where the water seems the color of blood and took photos of us. The bus is large and you shouldn't be in a hurry because it takes a long time to leave but I recommend it. We saw a lot of things and everything went well!

Best trekking ever, guided by Tom - Wonderful trekking on the crest of the mountain, with a view and subsequent exciting walk on the Fagradalsfjall lava. During the trip we were accompanied by the excellent guide Tom Ragnarsson, a guarantee for a very successful day.

Great for half a day but to long for a whole day and no choice to leave after half day - The tour guide was obviously a very knowledgeable and keen volcanologist who was very informative and dedicated to providing a good tour. This would have been very good for half a day but this lasted for a whole day with the afternoon onwards to the coast following drop off of some to the blue lagoon and then picking them up afterwards. It felt a little like a fill in and was too much. This tour should be half day if possible for the lava fields and optional for blue lagoon OR coastal tour in the afternoon to be made clear if you want a full day. The guide was very interesting though and we welcomed his knowledge. Not a good tour for kids. It isn’t entertaining enough for them for the day.
