Highlights

On your way to the Blue Lagoon you will drive through the lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula, the drive between Reykjavík and the Blue Lagoon is approx. 50 minutes.

The Blue Lagoon was formed in 1976 during operation at the nearby geothermal power plant. In the years that followed, people began to bathe in the unique water and apply the silica mud to their skin. Those with psoriasis noticed an incredible improvement in their condition. Over the years, Blue Lagoon has been innovative in harnessing this gift of nature to develop different spa services and products.

After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you can either return to Reykjavík or be dropped off at Keflavík International Airport (KEF) valid from October 1st.

Admission to the Blue Lagoon is NOT included and must be booked in advance.

Memorable Bkue Lagoon - First time in Iceland and our travel agency only booked Vlue lagoon without transport .it was scary at first not knowing how will we get there. My daughter suggested Viator which I did and it was an easy ride and easy to book online. Blue Lagoon ticked off our bucket list!!!! Will use it again and will.definitely recommend it. Thank you!!!! Excellent well managed trips! - We booked our transfers from the airport, golden circle, blue lagoon and northern lights with this company, we were picked up outside our hotel, the trips were always on time. We booked again for the northern lights as didn't see them the 1st time, mishca our guide was brilliant, really informative and helpful, we got some excellent pictures. Would definitely book again and recommend.

Does what it says on the tin - Couldn’t fault the transfer, left on time and was a comfortable ride. Would recommend booking this and then blue lagoon tickets separately (via blue lagoon website) as worked out £60 cheaper.

The drivers were... - The drivers were efficient, helpful and timely . What we did not know was that you need to buy tickets ahead of time for a certain time slot to enter the Blue Lagoon . There were no tickets available when we arrived but after several attempts, they made an exception and let us in .

Easy bus travel - Got the bus from the bus station to the blue lagoon. Would’ve been helpful to know what time the busses were on the way back as had an hour wait.

Unprofessional driver - I booked a bus transfer from my hotel to the Blue Lagoon without entry to the lagoon. The route was from BLI Station, and the return was to the same bus station. The driver suggested dropping me off at a nearby hotel instead of the bus station, which I accepted assuming it would take a maximum of 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the driver drove me to an inconvenient point that took approximately 30 minutes to reach my hotel, provided that I'm just a tourist and not familiar with the area. I regret that I trusted him and I should not have accepted anything other than my original plan, which is BLI STATION. The driver should take into consideration that I'm a solo traveler and tourist who is not familiar with city, and at least explain roughly how long it takes to reach the hotel and provide good directions instead of giving me another headache to find my place at night. This is not acceptable from a good service provider company like yours.

Bus did not arrive on time. Came 30 minutes before! We missed it. No refund. Do not book - My daughter and I had a day booked for the blue lagoon for 9am on 19 th February 2024. We included bus stop 14 transfer from Reykjavík. The bus was due to leave at 8 am but did not come!!! We were there from 745am It did not arrive, we waited until 915 and contacted yourselves to be told the bus came at 730 am !! We were told we were sent an email the night before re this. We were not. We received an email on 19 th February when we called at 930 am not before. I paid £202 and we should have had 5 hours in the lagoon with two drinks and two masks. The next bus we could get on was 1130- this arrived at 1210 We did not get to the lagoon until 1320 through no fault of our own, we had 40 minutes !!! The bus to the airport was leaving at 1430 this is simply not acceptable. No one would help us with our complaint on site. I am disgusted with this and for the disappointment to my daughter how we can be reimbursed for the loss of experience for her special day and the money spent .
