A great visit to the Silver Circle - Had a great tour with Walter today visiting the Silver Circle and the Lava Caves. This was the perfect tour to go on and the perfect time of year for it, as the group was nice and small. Walter was fun and knowledgeable, sharing bits of info with us at just the right time before we arrived at our next stop. The timing was perfect and never rushed. I enjoyed the crater, the waterfalls, and especially the caves! Thanks for a great tour!

Superb Tour - Our tour guide, Bartosz, was pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable on Icelandic history and culture. Because we left Reykjavik early and had some extra time he stopped at a volcanic crater and gave us time to climb to the top for viewing. It was spectacular and a nice addition to the scheduled tour. The highlight was the lava cave. A very unique experience going deep into a lava tube of an old volcano. We got to experience total darkness. You can’t see your hand or anything else in front of your face. The ride in the van was enhanced by Bartosz’ fantastic playlist and the views were stunning.

A great way to see more of Iceland - Interesting and enlightening although weather conditions ie ice on pathways made walking a little harder. All in all a very good time was had.

Excellent sights; awesome guide! - What a fun day! Absolutely loved Gulli as a guide; he told us some history of Iceland and the geography with understanding and humor. We would take another tour with him in a heartbeat ! Saw beautiful places, some in the sunshine and others in snow, but totally worth it. Jan at The Cave was funny and explained things very clearly. Of course, the waterfalls and hot springs are always worth the time! Overall, a really great tour that we highly recommend!

5 star tour - We were fortunate to have Bear 🐻 as our driver/guide, as he is a well qualified geologist AND, he has worked at the lava cave before. After a while waterfalls in Iceland become a bit meh. But Bear kept things interesting and entertaining. The Laval cave/tunnel is astonishing, amazing, exciting, mind blowing, and a wee bit scary. Of all the places I visited on Iceland over the last week, this trip was by far the best, and the Laval cave is in my Top 2 attractions.

The Wonderful West of Iceland (mustache edition) - Thorri was an amazing guide. He brought a unique thoughtful Western Icelandic vibe to our tour. The area which we covered felt like a piece of Iceland that was quiet, natural, and very easy to get your full heart and mind around. I would never have imagined that visiting the hot pool of a long ago deceased writer would be affecting, but I found myself drawn in to Thorri’s enthusiasm for the subject. Looking at the distant mountains and lava fields, one can truly see a timeless beauty unmarred by modernity. Even something that sounds industrial, a geothermal pumping station, displays a wonderful and surprising balance between the practical and the natural. Well played Iceland. I will leave the part of the tour with the waterfalls cascading from BENEATH the lava fields for the reader of this review to discover and enjoy for yourself with no spoilers. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and hopefully you get Thorri as your guide. PS, you’ll recognize him by his mustache, enough said.

Amazing tour. Amazing day! - We booked a tour, not this exact one, but one to see many silver circle wonders, for my 50th birthday, and I'm so pleased we did. Besides myself, my wife and our 14 year old son, there was only one other person on the trip. Which made it feel even more special. I sat up front with our magnificent guide, Gulli. His knowledge of the flaura and fauna was incredible. But more importantly, to us, was his ability to tell a story. The whole trip, he kept us enthralled with tales of vikings and ancient kings, weaving history and legend together in a perfect blend. He was funny and friendly, even having a snowball fight with our Son. We originally intended to visit hot baths, but the road was too flooded, so instead, Gulli organised a trip into the lava cave. An upgrade as far as we were concerned! The whole trip, we felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. Thank you so much, Gulli, for making my birthday the most amazing day ever.
