  • Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers - In Hautvillers, known as the “Cradle of Champagne,” enjoy a private tour of the Church where Dom Pérignon, the spiritual father of Champagne, is buried.

We will share his story, revealing whether he truly invented Champagne!

It’s the perfect spot amidst the vineyards to capture unforgettable photos of you and the breathtaking scenery.

We’ll visit the first of two independent producers/growers you’ll meet during the tour, with insights into the Champagne-making process, including visits to the presses, wineries, and cellars.

You’ll taste three different Premier Cru Champagnes during a guided tasting*.

*Depending on the season and availability, this visit/tasting may occur in a village of the “Côte des Blancs” or in Aÿ-Champagne.

  • Cramant - During your exploration of the “Côte des Blancs,” we’ll pass through Cramant, one of the renowned Grand Cru villages south of Epernay.

This region in Champagne is known as the “Kingdom of Chardonnay Grand Cru.”

  • Oger - Oger is another famous Grand Cru village in the “Côte des Blancs,” celebrated for its “Blanc de Blancs” 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru.

Here, we’ll visit the second independent producer/grower of the day, with further explanations on the Champagne-making process, including visits to the presses, wineries, and cellars.

You’ll taste three more 100% Grand Cru Champagnes of your choice, with tasting advice to explore different “Blanc de Blancs” such as natural Champagne without dosage, extra brut, from old vines, vintage, or even aged in oak barrels.

We’ll also pass through other notable villages like Chouilly and Avize, near the largest Champagne bottle factory and the famous “Chateau de Saran,” the exclusive property where the luxury LVMH group (owners of Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Krug, etc.) hosts its top clients and VIPs, as well as the “Montaigu site” dedicated to Moët & Chandon’s Champagne production.

  • Avenue de Champagne - During the tour, we’ll traverse another must-see UNESCO World Heritage Site, the “Avenue de Champagne” in Epernay, the Capital of the Champagne vineyard.

It’s considered “the most expensive Avenue in the world” with its prestigious Champagne houses, mansions, and 100 kilometers of cellars housing 200 million bottles.

Top recommendation - must see - RECOMMENDATION Isabelle is a super nice and knowledgeable guide with incredible knowledge about the area, the people and the Champagne business! We learned so much about Champagne during this 3,5h tour! Great tips for buying great Champagne from smaller producers different from the “big” names everyone knows. Good value - I strongly recommend this tour!
