Derroura offers incredible mountain biking in some of the most spectacular scenery in Connemara. You will face long climbs and thrilling descents with great views overlooking the entire of Lough Corrib from the halfway point of the trails.

This scenic path provides endless miles of single-lane trails amidst a breathtaking backdrop of mountains, lakes, and forests, making it a haven for those who crave uphill and downhill rides. It’s a 16km circular track, meticulously marked, with approximately 13km dedicated to single-lane trails. Some stretches of the path are technical, featuring sharp inclinations, rocky surfaces, and a variety of terrains, including exposed rock slabs, boulders, mud, roots, loose gravel, and even elevated timber boardwalks.
