As I embarked on the Chorao Island Tour, I was immediately struck by the island’s rich tapestry of history and nature. Known as Ilhas Dos Fidalgos, or the Island of the Noblemen, Chorao was one of the first conquests of the Portuguese during their 451-year rule.
