Thankyou Swynne. Fabulous trip. - Amazing trip, mainly due to our fantastic guide Swynne. She was a pure delight and taught us more about the history of divali than I thought possible. A great afternoon/evening topped off by high tea with great company and fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.

Essential to do in Goa! - We have tried four experiences through the company. You have loved each and every one of them tremendously. Would recommend trying at least one of their guided tours and I am sure it will be an integral part of your Goa trips. You get to see a side of Goa that you did not know existed.

A Truly Memorable Diwar Island Experience
Our Diwar Island tour was an absolutely delightful experience and a beautiful way to explore the hidden, peaceful side of Goa. The island is serene, green, and rich in local culture—perfect for anyone wanting to go beyond the usual tourist spots.
A special mention to Rachna, from Make it Happen, who made the entire experience even more special. She is extremely warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about Goa’s history and heritage. From sharing fascinating stories about the island, its churches, and traditions to making sure we felt comfortable throughout the tour—everything was perfectly managed.
What stood out the most was how personal and immersive the experience felt. It wasn’t just a tour, but a genuine glimpse into local Goan life. The experience also included a delicious, authentic Goan lunch, prepared by a local family, which was a wonderful highlight and added to the overall charm of the day.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Goa who wants an authentic, offbeat, and enriching experience. Diwar Island with the right guide is truly a gem—and Rachna makes it unforgettable! 🌿✨

Short review of Chronicles & echoes of Divar island trail - Super fun experience, Our storyteller Swynee was entertaining and gave us a lot of insight into Divar island and its Baroque style churches and fun details like oyster shell windows of the residents, very visually pleasing experience 10/10 would recommend :)

An experience totally worth it! - We had a really wonderful time exploring and knowing about the beautiful island of Divar. Swynne was our superb host and storyteller. She took us to the nooks and corners of this beautiful island and patiently shared with us the stories, culture and legends. Overall it was a day well spent and an experience totally worth it.

More to Goa beyond beaches - Despite having been to Goa many times, this trip will remain etched in our memories for a very special reason - we did something different. We visited Divar Island.
Like most travellers, our earlier Goa trips revolved around beaches, shacks, great food, and drinks. But walking through Divar Island offered us something far richer: a quiet immersion into Goa’s heritage, history, and soul. Largely untouched by mainstream tourism, the island allows you to experience a slower, more serene, and deeply authentic side of Goa.
Would like to credit this experience to our storyteller (not a guide), Pawan Gorantia, whose exceptional storytelling and professionalism brought the island’s history vividly to life.
This visit reminded us that Goa is so much more than its beaches.

Awesome - We took the package of chronicles and echoes of Diwar Island. And our tour guide was Mr Niranjan from Make it Happen. The whole tour was very interesting and informative full of little details about the island. Mr Niranjan is a wonderful guy and very friendly tour guide.

A heavenly island tour at Divar - The heritage tour with Pawan on the Divar Island was one of a kind. Have experienced many such tours all over India but Divar was a gem and honestly Pawan's way of storytelling is so captivating that I don't know when the time was gone. One of the highlights of my Goan odyssey is definitely this island tour. Recommending Pawan for such an experience as it will truly make it memorable. Thank you so much!

You need your own vehicle for the entire tour - This tour is a scam. I had to book a taxi or uber to travel to the departing ferry which is 45 min away. Then told I need my own car for the tour. This is unacceptable as it doesn’t state anywhere you need your own car for the whole tour. Unfortunately I fell ill with flu and instead of arranging an alternative day for me they just said cancel with full fee. Very unreasonable, misleading tour operator. I requested cancellation more than 24 hours in advance of the tour.
