Highlights
  • Ravello - Atrani Walk - You will meet the english - speaking driver at your accomodation and then you are ready to travel South. Along the Haghway 1 you can stop for coffee and restroom. After driving 3 hours, you will arrive at Ravello. This enchanting village, set like an eagle’s nest above the dizzying landscape of Italy’s Amalfi coast, is the most peaceful and charming resort on the Neapolitan Riviera. Early summer is the best time to explore its largely traffic-free lanes or to wander among the terraces and pergolas of its elegant gardens, from where there are vertigo-inducing glimpses of the Mediterranean miles below.
Greta Garbo, Jacqueline Kennedy and Tennessee Williams all holidayed here, and the place still has an air of restrained glamour.
  • Amalfi Marine - This is the second destination of the trip: Amalfi is a charming, peaceful resort town on Italy’s scenic Amalfi Coast. It was once one of the four powerful Maritime Republics and has much historic interest. Narrow alleyways wind through the town up the slopes between the sea and mountains. Besides history and beauty, the town is noted for its good beaches and bathing establishments, historic resorts and hotels, lemons, and handmade paper. The main attraction of the place is for sure the Duomo di Sant’ Andrea and Cloister of Paradise, excellent examples of medieval architecture with Moorish influence - The duomo is reached by an impressive staircase of 62 steep steps leading up from the main piazza. Mosaics decorate the exterior of the church. It has impressive bronze doors made in 1066. You can decide how to spend 1 hour, among Limoncello sellers, artisan shops, gelaterie or walking on the beach. Amalfi offers many opportunities to have fun.
  • Positano - Positano is the last destination of this excursion. Dramatic, deluxe and more than a little dashing, Positano is the Amalfi Coast’s front-cover splash, with vertiginous houses tumbling down to the sea in a cascade of sun-bleached peach, pink and terracotta. No less photo-worthy are its steep streets and steps, flanked by wisteria-draped hotels, smart restaurants and fashionable retailers. Once there, you won’t forget this experience for the rest of your life! At the end of this visit, you will head back yo Rome and end the trip at your accomodation.

Amalfi Coast - AMALFI COAST WOW!! We stayed in Scala, about 5 minutes from Ravello, but certainly less crowded and cheaper, from there we headed to visit Almalfi and Positano thanks to the very comfortable shuttles that reach the port from Scala, where it is possible to buy tickets for the boats that take you to Positano, Capri and Sorrento. A wonderful pearl that I honestly didn't know about is Ravello, with its breathtaking views both from Villa Rufolo and above all from Villa Cimbrone where the infinity terrace awaits you to be enchanted by the splendor of the blue. In short, at least once in your life the coast is absolutely worth visiting!!

Amazing! - We had an amazing experience. Our driver was fun, he was laid back and did a great job at making sure we had reservations for lunch in Positano. We enjoyed all 3 locations. Ravello was a quaint little town and wish we could have stayed longer. Amalfi was filled with all kinds of shops and the best lemon sorbet I have ever had. Our last stop was Positano, and the views are just incredible and also filled with lots of shops and restaurants. Having a private chauffeur is the way to go! The roads are very windy and stop and go, if you get car sick, I recommend taking something before the trip. We will be back, and would recommend this excursion to anyone.

Amalfi!! - We had a party of 9 and took two vans to tour the Amalfi Coast. The drive itself was beautiful, and we had plenty of free time in each place we stopped. Our drivers Rob and Marco did a fantastic job navigating the tight turns and narrow roads. We would like to go back to the Amalfi Coast to stay sometime!

Magical experience - Max was so professional , great driver and tour guide. He even went out of his way to make a reservation for our family at beach front dining. He spoke to us along the way and pointed out important landmarks as we drove from Rome to Almafi. This experience was the best part of our vacation so far. Would highly recommend this trip and Max as your guide. ~Maria

ok but not great - guide did not speak English and functioned only as a driver, not as a tour guide. Disappointing but the drive itself was not bad, it’s a good way to see a lot in one day.
