Excellent tour! - Dan is an exceptional tour guide and driver. If you saw how he navigated through the narrow tunnels in a bus you would understand his talent. He was knowledgeable, funny, and provided additional insight behind the history. He also made excellent recommendations regarding the Mt. Rushmore trail and other points of interest in the Black Hills.

Amazing! - Everything was great in our trip! Gary was funny and was very knowledgeable in all the places we’ve been to.

Fantastic Memorable DAY - Loved our entire trip starting at the Ft Hays Chuckwagon. Our bus driver for the day, Don, was very knowledgeable, super friendly and entertaining. All the sites were impressive and memorable. THANK YOU.

Impressive tour - I was mostly impressed by Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments. Custer Park is absolutely magnificent. There is so much history I didn’t know about. Our tour guide Gary was super—he was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Also a good people person.

Truly amazing trip. - Our entire trip was amazing! Not only was the scenery and history outstanding but our Driver/Guide Gary enhanced our experience greatly! His knowledge and insight…..not to mention jokes, took this experience to a whole different level. We highly recommend.

Exceptional - This was a great all day trip. Our driver/guide Dan was knowledgeable, amiable, and had a great sense of humor. He did everything to make us comfortable and have a good time. We had plenty of time at the venues. We never felt rushed or that we missed anything. In fact, to allow us more time at one of the locations, he ran the video they would show at the venue so we would have more time to look around. Dan gave us quite a bit of local stories and suggestions for restaurants, and other sights to see as her is local to the area. We could not have had a better day

Amazing tour, amazing company - guide needs to move into the 21st century - First off, I need to say that this was nearly brilliant. The company were delightful, the process was easy (even down to laying a free collection service from Rapid City), the pick-up point of Fort Hays is fascinating, the tour lasted almost 11 hours, there were plenty of amazing stop-offs and tons of information and opportunities to see the incredible Black Hills and it was really good value for money. I'd go again in an instant. But I have to point something out that became the only downside of my entire time on this vacation. The guide, when he wasn't doing the actual guiding part of his job (which was spot-on when he remembered what he was saying and wasn't making subjective comments), was really not my bag at all. Granted, most of the group were elderly Southerners. I'm not, and a lot of what he said was archaic to borderline offensive to someone like me. Far too much talk about his church, his family and attitudes towards them, comments on how 'The White Man' brought peace by creating reservations, constant jokes that came out of a Christmas cracker. Worst of all was his frequent pumping of the brakes for comedy purposes, which brought on motion sickness. He did it literally over 100 times during the day, twice doing it in time to music he put on, each lasting for about three or four minutes. There is no doubt he is a superb driver but this was awful. I didn't find him particularly pleasant beyond the superficial and, to my mind, he's been doing it so long he's gone off-piste. I would absolutely do this tour again with this company, but I'd request a different guide. I realise that my opinion may not be the regular one and I'm not going to lie and say that everyone else felt the same. I think most people may have enjoyed his style. If he realised we're living in 2024 and not the 1960s and altered his personal comments to accommodate that, I would have given five stars. But a big thank you to the company in all other respects.
