Highlights

Mount Rushmore National Memorial - The bus departs at 9am and heads for Mount Rushmore! You will have a little over an hour to look around at your own convenience and enjoy the sites and beauty that you came to South Dakota for. We stop here first because Mount Rushmore is at it’s best in the morning sun. Gutzon Borglum carved this mountain facing east towards the morning sun and intended it to be viewed this way.

The tour starts at Fort Hays Chuckwagon with checkin from 7:30-8:00 am. It is conveniently located on Hwy 16 just south of Rapid City on the road to Mount Rushmore. (Just 12 minutes from downtown Rapid City)

The tour left nothig to be wanting or seeing, the tour guide and starting location was a total surpise of the history. - We travel a lot and have done countless tours of all sorts and this tour was by far the best and most informative and entertaining. It was well worth the cost and we are already planning another trip for 2024 and all the very same and more sights. It was wonderful is the best we both can say about it all and our driver was great

Awesome, Fun & Educational - There were so, sooooo many wonderful photo ops. Our driver Dan, was an absolute delight, entertaining and informative. He even recommended seeing other non-related sights that were nearby.

Tour the Black Hills - Highly recommend the Ft Hays bus tour and dinner program. The trip is very informative and fun with the drivers. The show is top notch and the dinner a good old fashioned cowboy dinner. The meat was amazing.
