Ranua Wildlife Park hosts more than 50 species comprising 200 individual creatures native to the Arctic such as polar bears, arctic foxes, reindeer, otters, minxes, foxes, and wolves. The park also has a variety of birds like owls, buzzards, and snow geese. Visitors can witness the feeding sessions of animals during their tour. Along with a zoo for domestic animals that opens during summer, visitors can also enjoy pony and Finnish horse rides. Arctic rocks displayed in the Rock Park make for an intriguing sight. The picturesque landscape surrounding the zoo is an attraction on its own. A walk around the park covers a distance of approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers).
