Skógafoss - Skógafoss (the Forest waterfall) is 25m. wide and 60m. high . The cliffs around the waterfall are former sea cliffs but now the coastline is 5km south of the waterfall.
It is said that there is a treasure hidden behind the waterfall and we will tell you more about that.
This area has much to offer fx. the museum, Kvernufoss and more.

Unforgettable memories with Puffin Tours and Gulla on the South coast - This was a fantastic tour with Gulla. Prompt pick-up from our hotel, a quick outline of the plans for the day, a comfortable vehicle with lots of room, and timely stops for stretching our legs. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the South Coast, and planned our day to avoid the large crowds. We were able to enjoy and experience the rugged beauty of the area. Her English is excellent, and she shared her love and insight of her country. Highly recommended.

Great experience - This was a wonderful experience. Villi is a wonderful guide, informative without being overbearing. It was like spending a day with an old friend. We had previously been to Iceland and done the Golden circle, so we did this South coast trip. Lots of waterfalls and the black sand beach where we saw puffins. There is some great scenery to see. Villi makes everything as accommodating as possible. The transportation is top notch. He went above and beyond for us. We had dinner plans at a restaurant that is a bit hard to find so he showed us where the restaurant is before dropping us off. He also showed us where our cruise leaves from the next day. He told us Puffin Travel is the smallest tour company in Iceland but they try to be the best. They are succeeding! Sometimes the best things do come in small packages.

A great day with Puffin Travel - What a great day with our guide, Villi. He made us feel welcome immediately. Villi combined enlightenment with entertainment. We learned as much as we laughed. The sights we saw were fantastic. Villi brought us to places that are now lifetime memories for our family. Watching a YouTube video does the scenery of Iceland very little justice. We also enjoyed riding in his brand new vehicle. My family and I were disappointed when the tour finished as we did not want it to end. I highly recommend Puffin Travel and utilizing Villi as your guide. We began the day as guide and guests. We ended the day as friends.

You must book this tour - the best! - This is not just a tour, but more like a road trip with a close friend who knows all the secret cool spots. Villi is the best; great sense of humor, has a long history in Iceland so has great stories and knows all the points of interest. He loves his country and in the process you fall in love with the country too. If you have to make a decision to upgrade your travel experience in Iceland, go with Puffin. It's unforgettable and so, so much fun!

Highlight of our trip to Iceland - My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic tour with Villi, and I can't recommend Puffin Travel enough. We started the day with some ideas of the sights we wanted to see, and Villi did a phenomenal job of making sure we got the most out of the tour. He was even able to get us into a glacier hike group at the last minute, which was unbelievably lucky and really made the day. All in all, we couldn't imagine a better tour guide. He was easy to work with, incredibly knowledgable and great company. We will definitely book with Puffin Travel on our next trip.

Best tour ever! - Villi was an excellent tour guide. We left it to him to show us the best sights of his country and he delivered. We visited three waterfalls (including one you could walk behind and one with no other tourists), a black sandy beach, a lighthouse with puffins and panoramic views, Vik village for lunch and up to the start of a glacier.
The big wheeled Land Rover gave us all great views and Villi used a PA system so we could all hear his interesting commentary. He made sure we had ample stops for comfort breaks and to get refreshments and snacks.
At all times Villi was great fun, knowledgeable and managed to fit in far more than we expected.
This tour was the highlight of our week in Iceland and we hope to book Puffin Travel for any future visits.

Fantastic Experience with a Family Owned Company - I can't say enough great things about this experience. I was traveling with my 16 year old son and asked the company to make some suggestions as to what would be of interest for him. Villi and Gulla put together a perfect itinerary that covered all the popular places on the south coast (Black Sand Beach, the Glacier, etc.) but added a few other stops that were "off the beaten path" and allowed us to create some one of a kind memories, and travel on our schedule (vs. getting a teenager up at 7:30 AM for an 8:00 tour that would have included some low priority stops). Villi and Gulla were just fantastic. I am recommending Puffin to anyone and everyone I know planning a trip to Iceland. I can't say enough good things about our visit. Thank you both again!
