The journey begins from your place in East Sicily, and it leads you to the filming locations of ‘Inspector Montalbano’, primarily focused in Ragusa (Vigata). The area is captivating, and Sironi’s cinematography has done justice in potraying the environment and its characters beautifully. During the tour, we’ll also explore Scicli, where you can see the Montelusa police station (fictional name). The next destination would be the seaside abode of Inspector Montalbano, offering a breathtaking view from the terrace facing the beach. Although Marinella is an invented name as per Camilleri, the real location is PUNTA SECCA. We also include a visit to Modica, where you would be guided to enjoy the tasting of Modica’s famous chocolate. It is crucial for us to know the precise location of your pick up point and your meeting arrangement with our driver. Do share your hotel name, the address and city of your hotel or your B&B with us.

Montalbano plus history of the series locations - Our driver and guide Dario was excellent. His shared his wealth of local knowledge with us. He drove us to Scicli, Modena, and Ragusa. In each location, Dario provided the history of each city, and gave us detailed instructions to go on walking tours on our own. The five hour tour flew by. It was a great experience.
