Fabulous tour - highly recommended - Guide was very knowledgeable, took the boat inside of caves, knew stories about the caves, asked often whether we had questions, took pictures upon request & was very focussed on safety. Highly recommend.

Awestruck - Tomas and mate have excellent command and safety grips on the boat and guests, and deep knowledge of the local sites and geology. in 2.5-3hrs. you get a good mix of offshore view of Sao M's no. shore East and some great drifts into the caves. The faces of animals, hooomans and whatever in these rocks cannot be seen in pictures, you have to be there, worth every penny.

Magical Experience of the Sea - If you are considering going on this tour, I strongly urge you to take the leap! Tomas was absolutely wonderful, passionate and informative. You can feel the love he has for Sao Miguel, which made the experience even more special. The caves are truly breathtaking and the natural progression of each site kept the tour interesting and dynamic. We were also very fortunate to see dolphins; which was an added bonus, but not guaranteed! It was truly a magical experience and I will have these memories for the rest of my life. Book the tour, you will not regret it!

Great morning exploring the sea caves on the north shore - Thomas, our guide was very professional when it came to safety. He is very knowledgeable about the island and is very friendly. The weather was great and the north shore sights were amazing. We went in multiple sea caves. He gave us great restaurant recommendations as well. If you have a chance, take this trip. It is well worth it

Unforgettable, jaw-dropping views + an absolutely incredible captain/tour guide - First, Tomas (the captain/tour guide) is literally the nicest, warmest, most genuine person you will ever meet. It's clear he loves what he does and cares about people. What an awesome day on the water. My wife and I spent 10 days in the Azores and this was our only excursion on the water -- it's a MUST. You'll see some absolutely amazing things on the north coast, where the wind and waves have created an incredible landscape. Pictures will never do it justice. I'm so grateful we were able to see the island from this perspective. Granted, we had a "1 in 100" weather day. The sea was super calm which allowed us to get very close and even inside some of the caves. Last thing...while the wind was light, there were scattered showers in the forecast and, before we left, Tomas was completely honest that we might get wet and that he'd 100% understand if anyone wanted to back out and get a full refund, no questions asked. Seriously, they don't make people like him anymore. Please do yourself a favor and go on this excursion! You won't regret it!

Excellent Excursion - Tomas and Francisco were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. There were 6 people total in our group ranging from 15 years old to 77. They were able to answer questions that we had and provided history and details of the sites we saw. I can’t say enough about the excellent experience we had.

Great time! - This was a great adventure. Tomas was an excellent guide, too. He was super nice and fun. His friend was also in attendance who was helpful and kind as well. The north coast was beautiful. The rock formations were very unique and we were lucky to have seen dolphins and even a shark on our return to the harbor. I would recommend doing this activity! It gives you a different perspective of Sao Miguel.

A different North Shore perspective - SMALL BOAT TOUR …. 3 couples.
Thomas was very friendly, informative and accommodating with picture taking. There was no opportunity to swim. Caves are shallow. Geology and overall scenery were beautiful. A great perspective of the north shore.

Non existent - Unfortunately there is no option for 0 stars. This was a much anticipated experience that was cancelled just about 12h before (the previous night) by email - the voucher was still valid and there was no warning by text… no explanation or alternatives were provided, and it was a massive disappointment for the kids. I personally found the providers unnecessarily invonsiderate.
