Oh my gosh what a delightful experience!!! - What an incredibly delightful experience with Chef Khadija!!! Her welcoming spirit and ready smile were the highlights of our experience but right next to it was the delectable delight of the food my wife and I were thrilled to help (careful with that word, she did all the hard work) prepare under the watchful eyes of one of the most gentle souls we've ever met. The main dishes prepared included Chicken Tajine and Batboute (which we helped mix and knead the old fashion way). Just before finishing preparing the food, Chef Khadija asked my wife if she wanted to wear a beautiful traditional dress to enjoy with the traditional dishes we were taught to make. Needless to say, my wife was made to feel and look like a Moroccan queen! Chef Khadija is such a precious and inviting person who exudes the grace and warmth of the beauty of the Moroccan people and culture. She made us feel like we weren't just guests but family members. If you're in Casablanca for a few days, take the train (or taxi) ride to the beautiful City of Rabad (about an hour away) and enjoy the hospitality of one of the most authentic and knowledgeable Moroccan chefs you'll ever meet. Doing so will help you learn the simple lesson that humans everywhere were designed by our Creator to live in peace around one of the most common things we all do -- break bread around a table from the bounty of the earth. This "tour" and cooking class is a MUST for anyone who wants to go beyond Casablanca to one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco (Rabat), learn to cook from a pro a quintessential Moroccan dish, and while doing so enjoy the company of the nicest chef (sorry, Chef Ramsay) you'll ever meet.

Great experience - This cooking class was everything we wanted! Chef Khadija was very welcoming. We cooked chicken Tagine and Badboute bread. I also asked if it was possible to make Za'alook because I've really enjoyed it in Morocco and she was able to accommodate.

Top experience in Rabat! - Great experience in the company of Khadija who opened the doors of her kitchen to us so that we could prepare delicious Moroccan dishes. For about 2 hours we were able to prepare a meal consisting of a chicken tagine and two vegetable side dishes. We also prepared homemade bread. What a pleasure to then be able to taste what we have prepared!

Super recommended experience! - Magnificent experience! We were welcomed with a typical hot tea, immediately afterwards we started cooking, all the ingredients were already present in the house. The dish was decided together the day before. The lady was very kind, nice and very helpful! Super recommended, wonderful idea!

Great food experience - This was a great find. Chef Khadija's house was beautiful as was the neighborhood. We were greeted in true Moroccan fashion with mint tea and sweets. We then went to the kitchen and "helped" prepare our meals. Lots of cutting onions, garlic, peppers, etc and then adding spices to the tagine. We watched her make 2 different types of bread which were very tasty. As she prepared most of the food, chicken and vegetables, we watched how it was done so we could then do it ourselves when we came home. She encouraged us to take notes. She had Google translate which helped us with the many questions we had for her. Because of this great time, we purchased a tagine after we got home and can't wait to make our own meals. Come hungry.

Amazing food and great class - We made rfissa in our class, and the end result was one of the top two meals I had while in Morocco. Chef Khadija knows her stuff. We had a classmate who spoke Arabic, so that was very helpful to communicate, but Chef Khadija would show us packages or translations on her phone also. Great class, and I would highly recommend.

Great evening with a local home chef - Lovely host and the best tangible we’ve had in Morocco! Chef Khadija was funny, sweet & the best host. I loved that she made us laugh while having my husband do the hard work! :) We made chicken Tanjine, vegetables and bread it was better than the highly recommended restaurant we went to the night before. Highly recommend!!

It's a shame - I would have liked to give 5 stars but unfortunately that would not reflect the experience. Although very kind and a good cook, this course lacked the practical aspect. In fact, we assisted more in the preparation of the meal than really participated and it is a real shame. The kitchen is also really small for a group of 7 and poorly equipped for groups (only 2 cutting boards, a very small table) we were literally stepping on each other. On the other hand, we also booked a visit in French which ended with a visit in English (which does not bother us), but Khadija's limited English and French make the explanations summary and sometimes confusing. ... A rewarding and relatively expensive experience but certainly not a cooking class.
