- Quang Tri Citadel - At 8:00 am, your tour guide and driver will collect you from your hotel and commence the journey to Quang Tri. The first destination is the Quang Tri citadel, situated on the Thach Han riverbank, which was a battleground of intense conflict during the Vietnam War. Quang Tri was the scene of numerous significant military operations from 1954 to 1971, with the most notable being the 81-day battle in the summer of 1972. During this prolonged engagement, the US military and the South Vietnamese forces deployed substantial numbers of troops and heavy artillery, which almost completely destroyed the citadel. Today, only fragments of the citadel remain intact.

Vietnam’s Demilitarized Zone, or DMZ, is the area around the former border between North and South Vietnam. Historically it was a narrow band of terrain extending from the Laos border to the coast, five kilometres on either side of the Ben Hai River, roughly on the 17th parallel north of latitude. This deluxe full-day private tour will bring you to the area as well as the history of the Vietnam war. It’s a long day trip but regular stops at interesting places make it very manageable in a private car and tourguide.

Fantastic Experience! - Mr Loc picked us up on time with a good driver in an air-conditioned van. He acquired a step for me as I have a sore knee, which was very kind of him. Plus he assisted me in and out of the van.
Mr Loc is very knowledgeable on each place we visited. I very much enjoyed this tour. He is passionate, a very personable and kind gentleman and I would do a tour with him again.

Fun at the DMZ - What a great tour. The DMZ tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Loc went above and beyond to make it a great day. I would recommend Loc to take there as he is a Vietnam Veteran and has a large wealth of information
