A beautiful night in Quito - We had Irene as our guide and it was an amazing experience. Her knowledge of Quito was vast and there was no shortage of laughs. Would recommend this excursion and Irene as your guide to anyone!

Church tour at night / tour en la noche de las iglesias - Our guide was Irene. She picked us up from the hotel very punctually. We did the tour of the churches, where she explained to us about history, tradition and culture, it was very informative. We feel very safe all the time. Irene went above and beyond being a guide, we had a laugh and she made the experience very special. Irene speaks very good English and that helped us a lot to enjoy the tour. We highly recommend Irene to be your guide in such a beautiful place.

You've got to see Quito at Night! Thanks Irene!! - My daughters and I had the most enjoyable evening with *Irene*, our funny and knowledgeable tour guide -- who gave us a wonderful and safe night tour (with awesome pictures) of the Basilica, old town, and the Panecilla. Because it is almost Christmas, the party atmosphere at the Panecilla was a ton of fun! A million thanks to Irene - for sharing this beautiful city at night with us. The time flew by! I highly recommend this tour -- even if you've seen these places and learned the history in the daytime, it's all new and different at night! Go!

Irene is Fantastic!! - We just got back from a WONDERFUL Quito by Night & Urban Legends tour. The tour takes in the major sites of Old Town Quito (which has a magical atmosphere at night) and then takes you up to Panecillo Hill to get a night view of the city and enjoy a very tasty canelazo and empanadita. Since no one else had booked on our day we basically got a private tour, and they put it together for us at the very last minute, too. But by far, the best thing about this tour was our guide, Irene. I just can't say enough good things about her. She was so engaging, funny, and interesting. Gray Line Ecuador, you need to promote her or pay her ten times what you are paying her. She is a true gem.

Tourist from Florida - Tour was provided in a van, not on a open Two level bus as expected. Difficult to take photos. Knowledgeable staff.

An OK intro - A helpful intro to Quito, if you are planning a full day tour later this may not be helpful except that it does get you up the the statue. Our guide was good but as there were only two of us and a guide and a full size bus with driver it was a little bit of overkill.

Rather Uninteresting - Through Viator we booked three tours. Two were outstanding and this last one, offered by Gray Line Tours, was extremely disappointing. Our guides were cordial but really did very little to communicate to us anything about the city that we were driving through at night. I'm not certain our driver had very much experience maneuvering a large bus through the very narrow streets, some of which were unfortunately closed due to a demonstration that I think the tour company should have been aware of. The high point of the tour, despite the rather perilous ride, was going to the top of Panicillo and seeing the Virgen del Quitó illuminated. It was rather strange to be the only people on an entire tour bus. I believe Gray Line would have been better off either offering us a refund or providing a smaller car with a driver. This was very impractical. The tours that were booked through the other companies to Otavalo and Mindo were so far superior that this was really rather a disappointment.
