Fantastic tour, great guide! - Highly recommend this tour - great communication, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, and all around amazing experience and perfect for a single day in Quito. Booked this tour at the very last minute (7am!) for the same day, and had a response by 7:45am. My tour guide Raul met me at my hotel front door right at 9am. Raul was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and had so much information about the history of Quito and Ecuador. He was flexible with timing, and happy to point out a few free extra things we happened to walk by and see were open. The tour was not rushed at all, and Raul was a perfect host! We met up with Elias our driver to get to Mitad del Mundo, and he was friendly and a considerate driver. Raul wasn’t able to accompany me to that part of the tour, but he gave great recommendations and instructions on what to do and see there, and it was very easy to follow. Elias waited while I toured the monument and then brought me safely back to my hotel. It was a great day, and I truly felt taken care of on this tour. Once again, highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic guided tour with great local recommendations.

Ecuador Local Guide is your go to guide!! - We can’t recommend Ecuador Local Guide enough! Working with Christian was great - quick communication, extremely professional and very accommodating. We booked a tour of Quito on a whim to explore the city between our travels from the US to the Galapagos. We had a full day with Rodrigo who was wonderful! After picking us up at our hotel we started off to the Center of The World and toured the museum which was extremely interesting and we highly recommend! Rodrigo then took us to experience some of the best of Quito. We went to one of the markets where he pointed out local fruits, many of which we had never seen/tried before and then got a few for us to sample. Our favorite was the passion fruit! After the market we grabbed lunch at a great spot in Old Town where Rodrigo pointed out all the best Ecuadorian dishes and our food was delicious. After lunch we strolled through Old Town and visited the beautiful churches before returning to our hotel. Rodrigo was extremely knowledgeable about the country and answered all of our questions and taught us so much about the country. We loved our tour with Ecuador Local Guide so much we booked another on our return as well as an airport transfer.

Ecuador - Local Guide Referral - I recently was on a trip to Quito, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. It was an amazing trip, one which I will cherish. My first day I had the fortunate opportunity to have Christian as my private guide for my tour / excursion. Christian was truly exceptional. He spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Moreover, Christian played a critical role in the success of my overall trip. He provided me important information on country restrictions and government approvals needed to travel to Galapagos Islands. He also gave me recommendations of what to see and where to visit during my visit to the Islands. Christian is an amazing guide that I highly recommend. Svetlana
