Great way to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time - We were recently in Quito and booked a full-day tour to see the city before we left for the Galapagos. Since we were only in Quito for a short amount of time, we wanted to maximize what we could see by going with a private guide. Galindo was our tour guide and he did a great job educating us about Quito and the surrounding area and showing us the sites. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed visiting Mitad del Mundo and seeing all of the demonstrations of the effects of being directly on the equator. I think my only feedback would be that this tour can be customized to whatever you want it to be, but we were not familiar with Quito ourselves and didn't really know what we might be missing. It might have been helpful to offer us some options from which we could select. That being said, we got a solid overview of the city, saw the major sites, and got to do a chocolate tasting that was very good.

Fantastic Tour of Quito - Kathy picked us up at our hotel and we headed out to the city sights for an all day private tour. She was incredibly knowledgeable regarding Quito and especially the history. After our visit to the equator, the weather turned a bit iffy so she quickly adapted to a different itinerary to Casa Agave, where we got a private tour and tasting. This is an Ecuadorian distillery that makes misque, a distilled alcoholic beverage. While similar to its Mexican cousins mezcal, it has a distinct flavor, due to being made directly from the liquid (chawarmishki) of the Ecuadoran Agave plants. We really enjoyed the visit and I purchased some of the products to take home. The afternoon was spent touring the downtown area, including 4 amazing Quito cathedrals and also a wonderful lunch at La Vid Restaurante. It was a fantastic day and we really got to learn and appreciate the beauty and history of Quito.

Experience tour with Kathy! - Kathy was a truly terrific guide! She had a perfect mix of providing just enough information while still ticket time to explore as you were walking around. She did a great job of being flexible to spend more time where you were really interested. Plus, a great photographer to make sure you remembered the wonderful visit to Quito! I would highly recommend Kathy and this company!

Great tour of Quito! - We had an incredible day with our guide, who not only drove us around to see the places in the tour but also made suggestions as to extra places to visit. The tour was a little pricey, but it was still a fantastic experience.
