- TelefériQo Cable Car - The adventure begins in the morning, at 9 am, we will board a cabin of the Quito cable car, which will take us to Cruz Loma hill located at 4100 meters high, where you can observe the city of Quito from the northern part to the southern part.
- Rucu Pichincha - We will trek approximately 4 hours, crossing landscapes of the Andean Paramo, we will pass through the sharp rock walls of the Rucu Pichincha which means “Old” in Quechua language, We will take the road to the Arenal and climb a cracked road for 1 more hour and finally we will arrive at 4784 meters above sea level, at the top of Rucu Pichincha.

A challenging hike but worth it!! - Pedro & Carolina great team. Touched base before as cable car not operating. Turned up on time. I was very slow as struggled to acclimatise and Pedro very sensitive to that. Lunch was fresh healthy and filling. Thank you!! Transport was excellent too. The hike was super challenging but I did it!! And feel so great about that. Highly recommend

Lifetime experience with the best Guide Pedro Toaquiza - Me and my husband hiked volcano Pichincha and loved every minute if it. The entire hike there and back took about 5 hrs. Going down was much faster of course. The challenging hike in high altitude took our breath away but so did the views around us!
Our guide Pedro is a person that absolutely in love with his country and with the job he does! He throughly explained us things about Ecuadorian volcanoes and nature. He knew the trails to adjust the routes to the suitable level if difficulty. Pedro made sure I got out safely of couple scary for me situations ( turns out I am afraid of heights lol). Before the hike started Pedro kindly provided us with local fruits and snacks which turned out vital to keep us going with this strenuous activity!
In addition, it turned out while we were focused on our high altitude survival, Pedro took amazing pictures of us!
Highly recommend this tour with Pedro and would absolutely do it again!
