Highlights
- Laguna Quilotoa - This impressive lagoon was formed in the crater of an inactive volcano and is one of the most beautiful and visited places in the country. On the tour, you will be able to observe the bottom of the lagoon from the viewpoint.
We descend to the lagoon, where you can rent a kayak for a tour around the lagoon (not included in the tour).
After the ascent we have lunch and return to Quito
- Canon del Rio Toachi - This stunning canyon is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty, unique geological formations, and the opportunity for various outdoor activities.

Sendero al Fondo del Crater - One of the most popular activities in Quilotoa is walking around the crater. There is an approximately 9 kilometer trail that takes you to the edge of the crater and allows you to enjoy impressive panoramic views. The hike can be challenging due to the altitude, but it is a rewarding experience.
If you want to experience the lagoon in a unique way, you can rent kayaks or take boat rides to explore its waters from a different perspective.

Quilotoa Crater - This was a great day. Quilotoa Crater is exceptional and the guide Victor was very thorough in his explanation of everything and his positive energy was contagious. We used this tour group twice and would use them again in the future in a heartbeat.

Fantastic day ! - We booked the day trip to Quilotoa.
David was our tourguide for the day and he did an excellent job. He made our day extra enjoyable; very funny, lots of information and very attentive.
At the market we stopped at, David showed us round and we had a typical ecuadorian breakfast.
Then we stopped at an indigenous family who explained their traditions.
We were lucky to have a clear sky. It was absoluty beautiful to see the volcanoes and then walking down the krater; just amazing. I can certainly recommend the tour. We had a fantastic day!

Trip to quilotoa - I went on the tour our tour guide was David he was really good helpful and do his best we went many places and overall he is a good guide his English is good so communication is no issue as well

A really cool experience! - It was an amazing experience! David was a really cool tourguide who showed that he loved his work and gave us amazing information about the crater lake. The distance is far but it was worth it! I would definitely recommend doing this tour with David!

Magnificant views. Touristic tour - Nice hike to Quilotoa, magnificant views.
Great guide (David).
On the way, we stopped at a local market for breakdast, which was great as well.
The hike itself is a bit touristic. Going down to the laguna inside the volcano and up again on a road that was built for this purpose.

Highlands with Stui - The day with our tourguide Stui was very nice! He‘s so funny and we learn alot about the highland. I will never forget this adventure.

Fantastic Day - It was a fantastic day. The lake was stunningly beautiful and our guide, David, was brilliant. Very informative and even took lots of photos for us, which he then shared with us all. Also a great lunch. Highly recommend this tour

Great variety - Well paced, informative. The hike was steep and I don't think we could have hiked back up in time, so we paid to ride mules back up. The stops were all very good. David was a great guide!
