Spectacular views of cloud forest and birds - Wonderful trip to beautiful Mindo. It is a relaxing time with spectacular views of the cloud forest, bird watching and a small hike to the waterfalls in the forest. Christian from Llamingo travel is a very pleasant guide with lots of useful information about Ecuador, birds and the Mindo area.

An amazing day in and around Mindo - Our guide Christian is an excellent expert who has a wide knowledge about the equadorian wildlife and geography. You can tell that he really loves his job. We decided to take the cable car which gives you the oportuntity of a great view over the the cloud forest while listening to the sound of several bird species. Afterwards we went for the zip lines, which are one of the bests I have experienced so far. The birding was amazing. We saw multiple kinds of humming birds. Christian teached us a lot about their behaviour and habitat.
I would recommend this tour to every nature lover and to everyone who enjoys the diversity of the equadorian landscapes.

Magical Mindo is Ecuador’s hidden beauty - Daniel was an amazing tour guide, the best, and made the tour comfortable with his thoughtful and consciousness approach. His knowledge and passion for Ecuador and its natural beauty makes him the perfect person to offer the perfect experience. This tour - if private - can be flexible, and this is the important part…because everybody is different! And Daniel made sure the itinerary made it a unique experience for me which met my own wants and needs. Mindo is the hidden beauty of Ecuador and it would be a sin not to visit it, let alone without an expert like Daniel as a guiding hand. I would not recommend trying to navigate Mindo by yourself without deep knowledge of the area, so my experience was the way to do it. 10/10.

A great day in the Mindo. Cloud Forest - We had an amazing time visiting the humming bird reserve and the butterfly reserve. But the highlight was seeing how chocolate was made.

Great experience in Mindo - We enjoyed our trip to Mindo! Christian was an extremely knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. We learned so much not just about what Ecuador’s nature has to offer, but about it’s culture and history. Christian was particularly patient with us, especially when I found the hike to the waterfall more challenging than expected and needed to take a number of breaks.

Wonderful tour - We had an absolutely wonderful tour with our guide Andreas and our driver Manuel. We enjoyed seeing hummingbirds, hiking to waterfalls, and doing a chocolate tour. Visiting the cloud forest was magical, and during lunch we even got to spot a toucan. I would highly recommend this trip for everyone!

Loved the Hummingbirds!! - We recently took the full day tour with Daniel and had a wonderful time. Daniel was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Since it was a private tour we had options as to activities (make sure if you have mobility issues you understand the hike options)
The highlight for us was the visit with the hummingbirds where we ‘hand’ fed the beautiful birds (with lots of photo ops!). This was a fantastic experience that we will never forget!

An amazing day out with an excellent guide - We could not have wished for a better guide, whose name was Daniel. He spoke very good English and was extremely knowledgable. We decided on the longer walk though the rain forest to the largest waterfall, which was well worth it. The birdwatching experience was amazing and couldn’t believe how close we could get to the humming birds. A wonderful day and excellent value for money.

Terrible experience - Terrible experience with this tour. The "tour guide" that came to pick us up did not have real credentials. Other tours I did in Ecuador, the guide had a badge and explained a lot of information, but not with this tour. The car that he drove did not have air conditioning and the tour was disorganized.
We told the guide what we wanted to see on the Mindo tour but everything took so long that some things were closed by the time we got there.
I do not recommend this tour. I chose it because it was the cheapest option but you get what you pay for. Find a reputable company instead.
