Amazing tour with Edison - I highly recommend to book a tour with Edison ! He is an amazing guide who knows everything about the history and traditions of Ecuador. We went to Otavalo and discovered a beautiful waterfall but also artisanal products. We enjoyed a lot our tour, Edison was really patient with us, letting us take our time, explaining us everything. Also, the way to go there was really nice with good view and comfortable sits.

A day in the Quito area with a private guide - This was my first trip to Ecuador and I planned it before I realized how much there is to see in the country. It is a beautiful country with friendly people I had a wonderful day exploring the Quito area - first the equator (with a lot of fun, scientific facts) followed by a ride up the TelefériQo Cable Car. Make sure to walk to the swings at the top of the cable car. It can be a strenuous hike, especially with the high elevation - close to 13,500 feet, but worth the walk of 1.5 miles, roundtrip. Afterwards, we had a nice lunch downtown Quito. Next, we visited the San Francisco church (lots of 17th and 18th history in the museum). We could have visited a few other sites, but I had done so on my own the previous day. My guide, Kathy, was very knowledgeable and made the trip so much better and enjoyable. I highly recommend her and suggest you request her service when you book your tour. She knew details about everything!! Well worth the price to have a private guide. You also get to decide what you want to do - you aren't stuck in a group that may slow you down. The weather conditions change frequently, from cool and damp to hot and sunny, depending on where you are and the elevation. Make sure to wear multiple layers or bring additional jackets. The top of the cable car can be quite blustery (okay, cold!) with the winds and high elevation, so be prepared.

Best day exploring the highland region - Vinnie was an excellent tour guide! We were only in Quito for one day and with his tour, we fell in love with the country and can’t wait to come back! He knew so much about every area we traveled to and treated us like family. We would highly recommend this tour.

Vinnie for the win! - I asked for an intense agenda and Vinnie met it. Had a great time and he was very patient with me and my trouble with the altitude. Had a great time. Highly recommend.

Mitad al Mundo tour - We spent the day with our guide, Edison, who is an amazing human! He took us up to Mitad al Mundo and regaled us with the history and stories about the area. He is very knowledgeable as well as committed to sharing his culture with guests. Edison has set up a foundation, Awaken, that is working to help the indiginous communties in Ecuador rise out of poverty. He is full of energy and imagination and we felt really good bout helping support his foundation by using his guide service.

Amazing full day in Quito - Phenomenal fully packed day spent with Edison and Solene starting at Teleferico ending at la Mariscal market for a bit of souvenir shopping. Perfect combination of learning and interactive adventure. We were able to visit the common market and experience the most melt in your mouth fruit and fruit juice, tour the Basilica and climb to the top of the tower to view the entire city, eat lunch in the Archbishop's palace, wowed by the baroque architecture in La Compania church and learn about the traditional process of chocolate making, tasting chocolate like you have never experienced before. Edison is profoundly knowledgeable having grown up in Quito, his passion for his hometown and country is very easy to recognize and he even kept the teenagers engaged and interested throughout the day. Edison was very willing to be flexible to make sure we enjoyed our day even with a large group and still managed to get it all fit into 1 day. Transportation was comfortable, and prompt, always felt safe. Certainly on my top 5 most favorite tours ever.
