Great tour, great guide (Thank you Irene!) - We were the only couple (of the 14 in the tour bus) that booked half day - so we ended up with a full day tour. Cotopaxi was impressive even with clouds moving in to cover the snow capped peak. We saw some wild horses enjoying the balmy day. There were plenty of stops for snacks and restrooms, but no wasted time anywhere. The drive through the uplands to get to the Quilotoa Lagoon was amazing - I never would have seen this area otherwise, so that alone makes this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The sun peeked through long enough to allow the lagoon to show off her colors. Irene, our guide, was full of personality, knowledge, and definitely added a lot to the experience.
