Great first day in Ecuador - My mom and I spent a nice day around Quito with our guide, Luis. We began at the Teleferico since the skies were clear enough, then went down to Old Town. We walked around and saw la Plaza Grande, stepped into the cultural center and some cathedrals, and had empanadas for lunch. We ended the day by going up to the Panecillo. Luis was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Thank you for making our first day in Ecuador a good one!

Great Tour in Quito - Diana was a grest guide & we had a good van & driver. Booked just the day before, they arrived promptly. We all decided not to do the gondola ride as there was low cloud & little visibility. We started at the Virgin of Quito., with good views, explored the old city with its beautiful churches & buildings. Diana taught us much of Quito's indigenous & Spanish & post independence history & picked a good restaurant for lunch We finished with fun at the Mitad del Mundo - museum of indigenous history on Latitude 0000

Quito and More - Our tour guide Ivan created a wonderful experience for our family on short notice. Our father, age 96, and my sister and I had an amazing time touring the city and learning about the history as well as current cultural events. Ivan shared facts within entertaining stories so we were engaged and informed. He took us for a chocolate tasting which was delicious. And he offered to go back fornthe car adding time to his day because my dad really couldn’t walk back. Ivan was attentive and caring. He truly made our day

Great local guide - We had a great tour with Luis. He took the time to find out our interests before we set off for the day. He’s super knowledgeable, a great storyteller and is a foodie. Besides the great walking tour of old Quito, he took us up to Panecillo Hill. We were supposed to go up the cable car but because of thunderstorms, he took us to one of the local markets instead. It was great to soak up the local atmosphere and enjoy a fabulous lunch of hornado (roasted pig) with potatoes and chicharron.

Personal, tour of Quito with Luis! Cable car, swings, old town & chocolate! - Luis was the best!!! He picked my son & I up from our hotel & then drove us all over Quito for an incredibly informative, exploratory city experience! When he found out my son loves chocolate - he asked if we’d like to add in chocolate tasting to our tour! Attentive & personable! I’d come back and repeat our day with Luis again! Highly recommend!

Day well spent - Carlos was personable and so knowledgeable about the history of everything we saw. Our day before the Galapagos was well spent getting an overview of Quito.

Diana is a great guide! - Diana was a kind and friendly guide. We enjoyed almost all aspects of it!! I deducted a star for 2 reasons. 1: after the first church she stopped a local street vendor and encouraged us to buy. Hard pass on that…I don’t like any part of that and we declined. 2: the tour company didn’t provide any contact information to us. We waited until 1.5 hours before the scheduled tour and still did not receive anything so reached out asking for the name of the guide and the vehicle we were looking for…at 5 minutes until pick up he responded with the info. Yes it all worked out but so many companies provide intentional communication at least 12 hours out that it was notable that we heard absolutely nothing. Honestly we were worried about a no-show.
