• Mindo Valley - Gather at Mindo Central Park at 5:50 a.m. The guide will lead the group to the birdwatching reserve. Under ideal weather conditions, it is possible to observe between 60 to 90 bird species. Some of the species that may be seen include: Golden Quetzal, Masked Trogon, Rufous-throated Tanager, Palm Tanager, Masked Flowerpiercer, Golden-Naped Tanager, Golden Tanager, Black-Chinned Mountain Tanager, Blue-winged Mountain Tanager, and Blue and Gray Tanager, among others.
