Must see. - Amazing tour with a great tasting in the middle of thousends of barrels of aging rum. Must see tour. The historic exhibition is better than the one in the historic museum in Santo Domingo.

Ron Barcelo Distillery Tour and tasting - A great way to find your ideal Rum. - We made a last minute booking on the day by calling the Distillery and they were very helpful in accomodating us. When we arrived we were cleared through security and greeted by Juan Carlos who have us a private tour of the facilities including the rum storage warehouses, distillery and bottling plant and then the museum showing the history of Ron Barcelo Juan Carlos was very friendly, informative and helpful, answering all our questions and then took us for the rum tasting. We got to sample a variety of the rums they produce, including the premium Imperial range which enabled us to appreciate the difference between each age and type. This was exactly what we needed to help us select the Rum we wanted to purchase. Only downside is that the distillery is a little hard to find and get to, being tucked away in the countryside in the middle of the came fields from where they get the sugar cane to make the rum.

Amazing and Authentic - Thank you to Luis, our guide who made this experience fun and informative. He really knows all the details about these rums. A truly immersive experience that teaches you how to open your palate and mind to really taste the smoothness of these premium sugar cane treasures. Ron Barceló should know they are in good hands with Luis there. Totally recommended, PS: drink the cocktail at the end, it is delicious. Thanks Isa (DR) and Alessandro ( Italy)

Great Rum Tour - The tour was very informative, and we toured at our own pace. Our tour guide, John, was extremely helpful and very willing to answer questions. The rum tasting was quite nice and the prices for bottles at the end were very reasonable. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Excellent tour and perfect for souvenirs - Excellent tour performance by Jiancarlo who answered all our questions and described the process for us. The drinks prepared by Simon and jorge who shared their recipes where fabulous and at the store Luis and Sergio help us to select our gift for our love ones back home….. we really enjoy this tour!

Excellent experience - Excellent tour our guide was Jiancarlos Castro he was very polite, customer service orientated, tasting was delicious. He made it special!! Julissa was very nice as well . Consider exporting the premium products to Puerto Rico

Private Tasting Tour - Awesome experience! One of the best tours we did in DR. We had a private tour with Hendrix he is very knowledgeable & passionate about all things rum. We had never had a rum tasting- only in mixed drinks! Hendricks taught us the art of rum & his adjectives in explaining the feelings & tastes in your mouth are spot on! We ended up leaving with multiple bottles to take home that are only sold in the DR. Love the fact that Ron Barcelona is also eco-friendly.

A must go! - Incredible experience. Go for the Imperial tour. We got Hendrix as our guide and he gave us a true master class about the rum’s history, making process and tasting. They also have the most down to earth gift shop ever!!! Prices are lower than everywhere else in the country. 6 stars for this place.

Tour - I made the tour with a friend of mine we both work for food and beverage industry and the tour with Hendrix was like a master class definitely recommend it to everyone.Thanx again to Hendrix lots of knowledge.

Fun experience, worth the time! - Me and my fiance had a great time! The tour was very informative and Hendrix was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught me how to really appreciate rum, especially Ron Barcelo! After the tour we were offered unlimited drinks so we could try the rum which was a nice additional treat. Thank you Hendrix!
