Fun, Family Adventure - We loved our snorkeling adventure. Our guide was Gustavo and our captain was Pablo. They took us to 3 locations to snorkel. The first place had many fish, and we even saw two nurse sharks and a turtle. The second place had many starfish, and the third had many sting rays. Each location was beautiful, and we were able to stay for an appropriate amount of time. We never felt rushed. Gustavo was knowledgeable about the area and ecology and offered to take underwater pictures for us that turned out amazing. Lunch was fantastic. The ceviche was delicious and the fruit was fresh and sweet.
It was our family of 6 and another couple on this outing. Gustavo offered instruction in both English and Spanish. Gustavo and Pablo were friendly and helpful. We were provided with everything we needed to snorkel and enjoy our day. It was easy to find the meeting spot. We were there with a cruise ship and our port day was 9:15a-4:30p. There are many taxis that will take you to the marina. Once there the attendant will direct you where to go. Our adventure was from 10a to 2p. We had more than enough time to make it back to Puerta Maya and plenty of time for shopping. Also, there were taxis at the marina that would transport you back as well.
Some advice that I would offer is to be prepared in case of motion sickness. This was our first time doing anything like this and two of us got a bit seasick. It didn’t ruin our experience, but next time we’ll use something to counteract the effects. Also, in addition to needing small bills for entrance to the marina, you’ll want some for the bathrooms.
We have already started recommending this to our friends and family. We would definitely go on this adventure again!

Very good experience!! - Very good experience, we traveled with the guide Martin and knew a lot about the fauna, always watching the group. The area of the sky very beautiful to rest turquoise colors, the ceviche that the luxury captain prepared. I'd definitely travel again with El Mayor's group.

Fantastic - Booked private 4hour tour. Our cruise ship arrived 3 hours late (so not tours fault) our tour was still 4 hours. We did reach out to them the day before so they knew we would be late. Captain and tour guide great, pointing out lobsters, eels, rays, barracuda, sea turtles, and dozens of starfish and rays. Local company and they were grateful to be booked and employed for the day. They will cater stops to your requests

4-hour snorkeling tour - Very good tour, very friendly staff, both the captain Alex and the guide Lalo. I had kids with me and they were very patient with us while we were snorkeling.

Good walk - Very friendly and attentive. The walk is as described. The observation time is not much, but it is enough

This was such a credible... - This was such a credible trip! Not only did we get to snorkel with beautiful fish and turtles but we were also given ceviche on a beautiful beach surrounded by starfish! The tour guides were incredible and we felt very safe and taken care of the whole time

This snorkeling tour is... - This snorkeling tour is the similar to other tours on this island that go to the 4 spots, it’s the itinerary and this island that makes this tour a must do! Cozumel is better than all of the four Hawaii islands, pipi island Thailand, and saba Malaysia that we’ve been to. In my mind, San blas Panama is the best island, but the size is not comparable to Cozumel, and there was so much to see on this snorkeling tour! We went to this tour yesterday, the Columbia reef is where we spent the longest time, we saw a sea turtle and numerous beautiful fish. The second spot was close by, and we swam with a sea turtle. The 3rd spot called “the heaven”, we saw numerous sea stars on the seabed of white sand. Lastly, we had a good amount of relaxing time at el cielo. There were many other boats at the same area, but not overly crowded or noisy. It was shallow water and pure white sand, and a few huge stingray swimming around. We had a real blast!

The tour is good, but the... - The tour is good, but the snorkeling at Columbia and palancar reefs was too short. Our tour was supposed to be 4 hours but was done in 3 hours. The provided snorkeling gears were not the best.

Walk through Cozumel - We left by Ferry from Playa del Carmen , we went with Xcaret Sailing , fast and very comfortable , Excellent Service, in Cozumel we took to the Enterprise Andrea Tours , where we got on a speedboat that took us first to the beach area Colombia and Palancar , to do the first part of the Snorkeling on the reef , it is a simple activity despite not knowing how to swim , the guides are attentive and take very good photos, the second stop was at the sanctuary of the sea stars (Playa el Cielo ) where they help you go to the depth and take a spectacular photo and the last stop is Playa El Cielito , a natural pool of turquoise waters , warm and with stripes that pass by your side , there we were given drink and ceviche , guamacole and fruits from station , it is a beautiful experience , meet the 2nd largest coral reef in the world

People were very... - People were very friendly. The instructions getting there was a little confusing for me tho and personally I would've preferred we stayed longer at the palancar reefs where we actually did snorkeling and could see fish instead of spending most of the time at El cielito which is just a sandbar where we hang out (palancar was like only 15-20 mins out of the 3-4 hours). If you're looking for a more hang at the beach kinda tour then this is for you, but if you want more snorkeling I'd try looking for other options.
