Pristine adventure - Pristine adventure. Unbelievably preserved for a tourist attraction. It was more rugged than we expected, but worth the effort. Food at the end was good.

Amazing Experience! - Rio Secreto Plus provided us with everything we needed. We were assigned to Victor. He was a great guide and very knowledgeable with the underground river. This was an amazing experience and one not to be missed when travelling to Riveria Maya

Rio Secreto Plus Tour exceed expectations - we took the tour in Feb 2024, three guy friends. guide was excellent (Darely). the organization of the tour was excellent; while it was a lot of people at the checkin, they quickly broke us into our groups and we basically didnt see any other groups the entire afternoon except when getting gear. it was only us in the caves, fantastic. we never felt rushed. food was ok at the end, but we didnt go for the food. the only thing we would change is the transportation, we got picked up at Secrets Maroma Beach and then had to stop at 4 other hotels for pickups. next time we'll do private transportation, otherwise tour was excellent. we'll definitely do it again and recommend it. exceeded my expectations and i do a lot of outside activities.

Don’t buy the pictures. It’s a scam. - It was amazing. Our tour guide was phenomenal. The only problem I’m having is I spent 100 and something dollars for pictures that I can’t download. I have tried every avenue of downloading including sending the link to my family back in the states so I’m pretty sure I got scammed so now I have to call my bank and tell them to try to refund my money for Pictures that I cannot download. Before you guys leave, make sure you could download and see the pictures without their watermark or you will be scammed like I did.

Just beautiful! - We really enjoyed all the different things this tour had to offer! There was some downtime inbetween activies but otherwise we didn't have any problems. They do not allow you take your own phone for pictures, but can purchase some at the end. Turning off the nights while swimming in the cave is something I will never forget!

Unhappy Ending - Gustavo our tour guide was awesome and the tour was amazing! However, I was not picked up at the time they said and waited a whole over an hour. Finally I booked the tour again for the next day and took a taxi for $150. NEXT I bought the $90 photo package at the end because I knew the photos were a once in a lifetime thing. When I went online to get the photos I received 17 photos of some guy from Sweden, one of a bat and 7 group photos where you could hardly see me. I posed for at least 10 individual photos (individuals & with some friends I met) and received none. 🥲 So they sent me someone else’s photos.

Good + bad… - Tour through the cenote was best part, it was great! The bike ride for someone who is a cyclist was worthless, along with the rappel if you had any climbing experience. The most frustrating part of our tour was the check-in process - very disorganized, took over a hour hour from time we left our shuttle van to when we actually started on tour with our guide :(. Please consider hiring someone to better organize the large groups coming in…it can be done! Thank you

Go Somewhere Else - Caves are beautiful, but the tour operator is clearly not investing in the equipment maintenance, safety, or staff training. There are many better options. - Shuttle driver sped and swerved: it was nauseating - Bikes are not maintained, and mine broke while I was riding it. - Rappel safety instruction is lacking and seems dangerous. - Audio guide doesn’t work for dry cave - Photos are a scam. No personal photography allowed. Pictures must be purchased at exorbitant prices: $30 each or $120 for all. Did not know this until end of tour (rude surprise).
