OFF THE CHART AMAZING, Tamales, Chocolates and ritual dancers made for a great experience and great tour guides - This Tour was amazing, not rushed, and the Best part was Taz and his daughter Kor our Tour Guide. Very attentive, and shared a lot of knowledge with us. We had a blast making coz tamales, and cacao bean grinding, learned all about the local Mayan culture as well, and watched a ritual dance. Even got a TATTOO!! As Travel Agents we are always looking for GREAT off-the-beaten-track tours and experiences for our Clients and we found it with this one. I will refer this to every client going to Cozumel we booked this through Viator and Cozumel Tours by Cab didn't fail in fact they succeeded, and even went an extra step taking us around the island. We WIll be Back can't wait to book more clients there.

Hands On Introduction to Mayan Culture - We had a great time at the village learning a lot of interesting things about the history, culture, food and customs of the Mayan people. In addition to this we had a great tour guide that had an excellent sense of humor and all the people in the village did a great job demonstrating different aspects of the Maya while also putting on an amazing performance with dancing and music. The tequila tasting afterwards was also good and that’s coming from someone that isn’t really a fan of liquor. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Great way to spend the day. An absolute blast. - Came here with a group of girlfriends and we had an absolute blast! Our tour guide at the the Mayan village was knowledgeable, full of energy, and made sure we were having a good time. We made tamales, drank corn and honey water (delicious), and made chocolate. Everything tasted incredible. The tequila tour right after was the perfect way to end. Everyone was so nice even down to our driver Gerardo, he was such a sweetheart.

We didn’t expect this tour to be as wonderful as it was, but boy, were we thrilled! - Despite obstacles including our cruise ship arriving late and our tour guide being very delayed due to being in a car accident, we still had a fabulous time. We were flexible, and so were they. We were treated to a stop at a chocolate factory (so good!), a visit to a tequila tasting place, and then a really amazing experience at a Maya village education park. Our Trip Advisor guide, Karima, was funny, knowledgeable, and so warm. She felt like family to us. Our Maya village guide (Tum-something I’ve forgotten) was super! He was hilarious, informative, and a sweetheart. We learned so much that day. I would highly recommend this tour to any adult!

Loved it! - This was a great cultural experience for me and my niece. Upon arriving Cozumel and getting to our meeting point my niece had the misfortune of misplacing her IPhone at the restaurant. I thought the phone was a loss and so we proceeded with the tour. The Mayan staff were quite pleasant, informative, and they went out of their way to make us a part of their family. I enjoyed participating in the cooking demonstration and touring through the site. When heading out for the Tequila tour the taxi owner was very kind in allowing us to circle back to the restaurant in hopes to find the phone. Fortunately, a worker had held the phone and quickly retrieved it for us. We were so grateful!! The Tequila tour was ok. I think the Tequila was a bit overpriced and I did not get to taste the cucumber Tequila that I tasted on a previous trip. The tour guide gave us a few non-touristy recommendations for shopping and dining. We felt safe and I look to visiting Cozumel again in the near future!

Beware scams - What you see is finem what you experience is hard sell! The Mayan Village gift shop, add a zero to prices you pay in Cancun Town, and the Tequila tasting I suggest you go to Walmart or other supermarkets in Cancun to price the tequila A 14% liquer was priced at £120 a bottle! Total rup off! Not worth the visit! At the end there is a big push for tips, unsavoury.

Tequila Scam! Fraud! - Tequila is a scam! Misrepresented products, added coloring and flavors, lies about aging and authenticity. Avoid this tour! Scam!
